The guide by D8RKSIDE777 is technically correct but lacks some detail as it pertains to the ideal play to call and how to do this functionally with two controllers. I have found this method to be reliable, but it might take you 15-20 minutes to get the timing just right and whether or not RNG is on your side!
The following guide is used for two controllers, although you could do it with a boosting friend on someone with you in person, obviously.
1. The general setup: Play Now mode, two controllers, on Arcade mode. Teams don't matter, but if you want to have a great shot at stopping the run with a tackle pick a team with a strong defensive line (Jaguars, Steelers, etc.) against a team with a weak offensive line (Chargers, 49ers, etc). Turn off the accelerated clock and set the quarter minutes to 15 so you have an optimal time to pull this off without being forced into menus or time away from the game.
2. Kick off to the dummy account/secondary controller and every single play, on offense pick Formation > Goal Line > HB Dive once with the ball, and on defense pick Formation > 4-4 > Cover 3. The best news here is that the AI will take over running the ball for you, so you don't have to switch between controllers that quick. After you set that up, this is the most important part of this achievement: hit left on the d-pad and shift your defense to the left side and choose the player who is closest to the gap that the RB will rush through before every snap. All you have to do on the other controller is snap the ball with the A button and the AI will take over the route and rush it. Again, be sure to let the AI run the route after you snap the ball, otherwise you won't be able to get it by multi-tasking with two-controllers. If you do this with a friend, tell him to run near your selected player and try to give aid to your attempt of blocking off a defender while getting credit for the tackle.
3. Once you shift the line to the left to plug up the gap that the rusher will run through, spam the LB button while attempting tackles on the running back, typically while playing as a DT (or an LE on occasion). Keep your player matched up against his opposing player on the offensive-line so he can shrug them off and continue the tackle. Repeat this however many times you can, and if you don't want to pick the play every time, on offense, spam the Y button to do hurry-up so you don't have to be in a huddle and pick plays.
If you stop them on fourth down and you don't get it, just take the ball and get a safety by rushing into your end zone and repeat the process over again. It might take a little while before you get a feel for what you're trying to do, but optimize this strategy and it shouldn't take too long. Be sure to shift the defensive line left every single play to the left side and spam the LB button while you attempt a tackle and eventually you'll get it, just repeat these steps however long you need to!
