You have to move the tiles with bombs beside the boss to knock him out. Afterwards you can attack him with your weapon. If you try to attack him before you do this, all your hits miss and you deal no damage. The most annoying part of this fight is to swap the tiles to make a road to the boss, before the stun effect ends. If you still have trouble with the fight, make sure to play on easy and wear better equipment if needed.
