I wasn't able to craft one, but here's a seed where you can find one in a chest within two minutes.

Seed: prosplank (Edit: make sure this is all in lower case! 'Prosplank' will drop you in the wrong world. Thanks DarkSoul Skynix!)

Location: 1650, -400 in a desert temple. Directly behind you and about 400 blocks away when you spawn.

OH HUNGEEWorked for me on v1.16.210 Xbox One X. First try. Made a copy of the world after I got the Apple so I could get the “Fruit on the loom” achievement too.

A notch apple is a golden apple that has the glow of an enchanted item. You don't need to enchant a regular golden apple, however. Instead, you need to craft it using an apple and 8 gold blocks. A gold block is made from 9 gold ingots, so 8 gold blocks are made from 72 gold ingots. Once crafted, you simply need to eat it.

You can also rarely find them in chests around the world. In one of my Xbox One Edition worlds, I found one in a woodland mansion. I'm not sure if they are exclusive to those or if you can find them in other structures as well.

Edit: If you are having trouble crafting it, you may have to do it manually as opposed to using the recipe book.

Edit: Notch apples can no longer be crafted. You have to find one in a chest in the world. The easiest way would be to find a seed that has a known Notch apple in a chest. I will update the guide if a seed has been posted in the comment section.

BadWolfTommieThis solution is outdated. Notch apples can no longer be crafted.

Beam147@Autumn are you able to please give coordinates of desert temple??

IR i IDYou can also start any world which you know there is a desert temple, dungeon, mansion, etc. and Save & Quit then Copy the world near a chest before opening it. Each copied world will have "rerolled" chests.

Bedrock 1.18.2 Cliffs and Caves seed with enchanted apple right by spawn:

    Seed number: 313714641

Enchanted apple in ruined portal chest @ 382, 276. Eat it and enjoy.

This seed also works for Fruit on the Loom achievement cause near spawn is wool, enchanted apple, and sugar cane to make paper.

Credit to Baked ZD for sharing this seed. Seed showcase video:

    Good luck.

PacificSlewI came across this youtube video today which worked for me in the current bedrock version (1.18.31). Can confirm The enchanted apple was there for me in the woodland mansion. I take no credit, just passing along a solution that currently worked for me so good luck!
