Steam user raven0ak has a great guide here on steam: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93009...

All runes, purple soulbeads, wands, and quests are listed here with pictures to help you along.

This "guide" is simply here to point people in the right direction.

Mr FiddlerHow good is the in-game tracking for this? That is, can you check out what you missed in the pause screen or whatever so that it's easy to play the game without a guide (spoiler free) and then mop up with one after finishing the story?

JalgrinYou can see which wands and runes you have in the pause menu in-game. For quests and purple soulbeads you are going to have to remember which ones you have/ have done as the game does not have a list for them. It isn't a problem as you can revisit every area again when you want to collect the beads or finish the quests. However, there is one quest that needs to be done correctly or you won't be able to get one of the wands.

Slight spoiler ahead for just the one quest/wand: You will meet a farmer in the Highlands who wants you to find his pitchfork. It is in a tent in the same area. You must give this to the farmer located in the Highlands, not the farmer in Greyleaf.

Everything else you can come back to after the main quest, though if I recall correctly it just reverts to the last save before the final boss so you may as well finish it all just before the final fight.

Mr FiddlerCool, thanks for the info. Thinking about picking this up in the sale this week though not 100% decided yet. smile The 'all wands' achievement isn't flagged as missable though. Should it be?

JalgrinTruth be told I'm not sure. There is a warning in the guide stating that you could be locked out of the NPC, but the NPC in question isn't the one that gives you the wand. I finished the quest before I found the guide because, honestly, its a pretty easy quest and you just stumble across the items needed while playing normally.

TymanTheLongActually there is pseudo tracking in the Map (tab left from your spells). Any area where you have completed everything gets a green checkmark so if you’re looking for your last couple Purple Soulbeeds you’ll know which area they’re in.

Also, you can cheese a lot of the puzzles with either the Rain or the Teleport rune. Fire Creo Rain can hit multiple torches/braziers and will stay up (longer with the Time rune) so you can simply plant one on each torch instead of making a really difficult skill shot (that one in burned down Greyleaf can bite my shiny metal butt). Teleport rune let’s you shoot past barriers (really great for Air Creo tornados and Fire Actus). Ego Move can make you get to another torch faster and don’t forget Ego Homing sucks Soulbeads and stuff to you from inaccessible places.

Don’t waste a lot of time on puzzles that are insanely difficult, they might be easier later.
