With Forsaken on the horizon I decided to get back into the game and I finally got around to re-writing this guide. It wouldn't have been possible without the infinite wisdom of DoctorWho426

If anything differs between the Prestige pre-Forsaken and post-Forsaken launch I will do my best to upload it in a timely manner.

One of the changes in the Prestige version of the raid is all enemies are much tougher. They hit harder, take more damage.

Another change is that when you die in an encounter, you lose your res token. The person that picks you up uses their token and you lose your token when you die. This really limits when you can res someone during encounters. Stay alive, stay together if you can, team shoot if you can. Warlocks should always be running healing rifts for precaution measures.

Underbelly -

The Underbelly has the same layout as before, the symbols have just been removed. Look up a map or be very good at navigating through the Underbelly.

Castellum -

Again, nothing is too different save the enemies are tougher to kill. A standard strategy that is for the first flag, all 6 fireteam members fight for it. For the other 2 flags, 4 members defend the door, and the other 2 fight for the next flag. So in short, it's similar to the strategy in Normal mode.

Roaming supers are very good here, and done right will make a lot of orbs. Any Titan super, Dawnbreaker and Stormcaller for Warlock, and for Hunter, if you have multiple, 1 tether with Orpheus Rigs, the rest as Arcstrider.

Fight well, stay alive, keep the relaimers away, kill the councilers quick.

Pleasure Gardens (Dogs) -

The change here is that there are 2 more dogs. That means there are 8 dogs, every flower has a dog at it during damage phase. The new dogs roam in front of the safe room, and in the middle to behind the trees. They will go to the unoccupied flowers, Trees and R2. Try and get 36 stacks of the buff, 3 flowers. Some teams may get 4 or 5 flowers, but 3 is good enough for most. Titans should use Striker because of double pulse grenades, Warlocks should use Nova bomb and Vortex for DOTS. Hunters should either use the Golden Gun Gunslinger tree for precision damage only of they have the Celestial Nighthawk exotic helmet, and Arcstrider if not, and use the Raiden Flux exotic chest piece if they have it, but it is not necessary.

The most useful heavy weapons are shotguns, rockets, fusion rifles, and the Whisper of the Worm (aka Black Spindle, Black Hammer). The best shotguns are Hawthorn's, Perfect Paradox, and the Escalation Protocol shotgun, the Ikelos Shotgun. The best rockets are Sins of the Past, the raid rocket, The Curtain Call, the vanguard rocket, and the Osprey, the nightfall rocket from the Strange Terrain Nightfall Strike. For Fusion Rifles, use the Merciless or Sleeper Simulant. The Whisper Of the Worm exotic sniper is amazing in this encounter because of the White Nail perk, which refills your magazine with **FREE** bullets if you get 3 rapid critical hits, and the dogs just stand still, so you don't really need to aim much to do massive damage.

For damage phase, R2 and L2 should be "community" dogs, dogs that you shouls go to after your assigned dog is dead. For the right side, the prism holder should go R3, someone should go to Caves, and finally R1. When those dogs are dead, go kill R2. On the left, the prism holder should go to L3, someone should go to to Caves, and finally L1. Once those dogs are dead, go kill L2.

If your team is struggling to get flowers, struggling with damage, get your dog about 1/2 or more damaged, run back to the safe room, and do it again. As long as all the dogs are still alive, you will still have a lot of time before they start going crazy.

Royal Pools (Baths) -

The changes are that Bathers are now "Oiled". This means when they die, a vortex of purple funk drops where they die. DO NOT run through this, it will drain your Psionic Protection.

The other change is only evident if you can't 1 phase the crystals. Over the middle, 4 people will have a "Burden of Worthiness" buff and see a symbol. It will be Axes, Beast (or Dog), Cup, or Gladiators(the two Cabal). I said them in this order because it is easy to remember the order of which plates they are.

- A plate, Axes, is the Top Left
- B plate, Beast (or Dog) is Bottom Left
- C plate, Cup, is Top Right
- D plate, Dudes, is Bottom Right

Easy, right? A, B C, D!

Anyway, the 4 people who see those symbols jump on their plates (they will get Psionic Protection at their plate), and the 2 floaters will get their protection once the 4 plates are active. Rotation is as normal, just sides and order will be different.

The rotation is Float goes to Top, Top will go to the middle, refresh their buff, then go to Bottom. Bottom will go refresh their buff, then go up to the Top plate to relieve the Float. This is the same on both sides.

For Bathers, Shotguns and Fusion Rifles are very good damage dealers.

For damage phase, Titans should be Sunbreaker with exploding hammers. This can destroy an entire set of crystals by itself. Warlocks should wear the Lunafation Boots to reload allies weapons automatically who stand in your Rift. One should be Healing, one should be Empowering if you have multiple. Stormcaller for Arcsouls is amazing, plus it can be used for add control. If you want to do damage, Dawnbreaker or Nova Bomb works, but is outshined by how useful Arcsouls are. For Hunters, use Golden Gun with Celestial Nighthawk. This will almost 1 shot a crystal. Use Tether or Arcstrider if you are on add control duty. If everyone shoots the same crystals going in a rotation, it is very easy to 1 phase this encounter.

Gauntlet -

The biggest change here is that everyone MUST run. Assigned runners just doesn't work.

The strategy here is called R.P.G., which stands for Runner, Plate, Ground. This is the roles that each team must preform. The teams are Cup and Dog teams, 3 people on both. The team will be following the runner around the entire ring, so be fast. Runner will pick up the charge and run as normal, calling out what symbol, Ax, Dog, Cup, Sun, and position, Top, Middle, Bottom. The person on the Plate should should the upper most symbol that wasn't called, and Ground will shoot the bottom most one that isn't called. As soon as the arrows are green, Plate will run to the next Plate, turn around, and shoot a shadowy Psion that appears somewhere on the previous Plate (Not shooting and killing this will wipe the team), Ground will punch the Psion/Councillor that spawns, and then run to the next plate. Once runners are out, it all starts again.

For the next round, The Runner will go to the Plate position, the Plate will go to the Ground position, and the Ground will pick up the orb and Run. Follow as normal, kill adds as normal.

Super and weapon choice doesn't really matter, just whatever you can accurately shoot with, and can kill the Shielded enemy that spawns quickly.

Remember, R.P.G., and follow the runner.

For the final run where everyone runs, there are only 3 orbs that spawn instead of 4. One team (Cup or Dog) should be assigned even or odd, and the other team will take the other (Make this call with your team). Odds are 1, 3, 5, Even is 2, and 4. If it isn't your number, just skip the orb. You will have plenty of time if this is done right.

Callus -

There is one big and annoying change in this encounter. When someone punches a Councillor during callouts, they will swap places with a random person in the Void area.

Titan's should be Sunbreaker for add control and Callus damage if they want. Warlocks should be Stormcaller/Arc Soul if they are in the Throne, Nova for Callus damage if they are in the Void. Hunters can be any class, but each has a specific role. For Tether, you need to be using Orpheus Rigs and the "Trap laying" tree, the one that shoots one Tether. They will be standing on the Top Right plate, and spam as many tethers into the middle as they can. A good round will have 5~7 tethers go off. These orbs will be invaluable to the people assigned to the Throne, as they can keep popping supers to clear adds quickly. If Callus is shooting you with his laser, just back up and hide behind the pillar. Just keep pumping tethers. Once you get 5~6 off, go ahead and tell your team to kill, so the adds are gone for the next phase. Arcstriders should wear Radien Flux if they have it, and will destroy enemies in the Throne. Golden Gun should use Celestial Nighthawk and will do massive critical damage to Callus.

Tether and Golden Gun Hunters should be assigned to Void, Arcstrider to Throne. Nova bomb Warlocks also assigned to Void, Dawnblade and Stormcaller to Throne. Titans can be anywhere.

Before starting, decide which 2 people will be permanently assigned to the Throne. These people will not punch a Councillor under ANY circumstances. They should be guardians with good roaming supers, so any Titan, Stormcaller or Dawnblade Warlock, or Arcstrider Hunter. Decide who will be in the Void initially, and in the Left, Middle, And Right positions. Finally, the last person will be the "First Punch". He will be the one who punches the first Councillor.

When someone teleports into the Void, they should try to go for the Middle position, unless they spawn super Left or super Right. That call out will be made as your judgement. You will also spawn at the very far back of the Void room, so be careful of any ramps or holes. Anyway, Spawn in, take the Middle position. If the Middle did not teleport out, they will shuffle Left or Right to cover the person that DID teleport out. This is there new position, and they will shoot and call out accordingly. The person that DID teleport will now be in the Throne and will punch the next Councillor. Callouts will be from Left to Right, so Left calls out first, then Middle, then Right. You will need to cross-shoot the Psions that spawn, Left shoots the Right Psion, Right shoots the Left Psion, and Middle shoots straight ahead. For the last round, the round without callouts, just shoot the Psion in front of you. If there is a Stormcaller Warlock in the Void, pop your rift with Arcsouls. If there is a Titan, place a Rally Barricade. Kill as many skulls as you can, but generally, once you get to about ~60, tell the throne team to take Callus's shield down. You will end with about 80 or more skulls this way, and if everyone is good, this should be more than enough to 1 phase Callus.

In the Throne, Kill adds as normal, use the Orbs generated by the Tether Hunter to more easily kill adds. For the Shield phase, stand in the back. If you have a Warlock, he should use Healing Rift to stay alive because of the burn. Damage the shield, but don't kill it. Wait for the Void to say to kill it.

For damage, Rotate clockwise from the Top Right plate. Pop Supers to do massive damage. Good weapons are Merciless, Sleeper Simulant, any rocket launcher with cluster bombs, Whisper or the Worm, Coldheart. Use what you are comfortable with, what you know you can use well and do a lot of damage with. If your team decides to use the Whisper of the Worm, Warlocks should not use Lunafaction Boots, as this will preemptively reload the sniper and ruin the perk. If you can not 1 Phase Callus, DO NOT damage him below 1/3 health. He will shoot lava bombs that are a pain to dodge and run around in the Throne.

When he goes to Last Stand, jump off the plates. There is a bug that sometimes shows up, that if you are on the plates and they run out, Callus will be immune. Jump off the plates to be safe. Pump him full of damage, and when he falls, you win!
