Immediately after blowing up the prison wall to allow the prisoner to escape, you will need to pick up the treasure map. It is located right next to where the wall blew up. Be warned though, once you pick it up, you will have to run again and like I said the running in this game is rather difficult because of how bad the game is.

Start by running towards the barn. This is to get out of reach from the first guard who tries to catch you. Now make your way to the door the two guards were guarding earlier for a checkpoint. You will then notice a guard around the corner waiting to grab you. You will have to slide under him, but for now head towards the dock. This is just so you can straighten yourself out a little better so you can slide under him. When sliding, you must not be holding Shift like I found out. So press Shift to sprint then X to slide under him. Now keep hitting the checkpoints and sliding under any other guards until you reach your destination. It is where you met the old drunk man. Jules I believe his name is. After the cutscene, the achievement will unlock.

I did a walkthrough, teaching how to achieve all the achievements. At the end of part 1, you can see that the character you need to talk to, he disappeared, to solve this, pause the game, return to the menu, close the game, open it again, select the second flag, and select "A New Hat", now the character will appear, just like the beginning of part two.
