Pioneer Gear is the 2nd lowest level of the 5 new levels of gear in Chult. It is item level 440.
Pioneer Gear is bind on pickup to account.
Note: You only need the Head, Chest, Arms, and Feet. The Rings aren't required for the achievement.

You get Pioneer Gear by trading Chultan Riches to the Pioneer Equipment Dealer just inside Port Nyanzaru on the left side.
You also have to have done the first 3 middle campaign tasks to unlock the gear! Thanks Fuzzmeister!
Another easy way to access the Pioneer gear from anywhere is opening your Campaigns window from the menu; selecting the Jungles of Chult campaign; then pressing X to open the campaign store window.

Chultan Riches drop from almost anything you do in Chult! HE's, fishing, Quests, and other miscellaneous stuff.
UPDATE! The Tomb of the Nine Gods apparently drops Chultan Riches in large numbers! ~1000 in one run of it for Fuzzmeister!

The Chest piece costs 3500 Chultan Riches.
The other 3 pieces are 2500 Chultan Riches each.

The Pioneer gear has a good mix of stats toward the general stats each class generally goes for: my GWF's gear focuses on Crit, Power, and Arm Pen. My DC's gear focuses on Crit, Recovery, Arm Pen, etc.
Pioneer Gear has a mix of bonuses related to having more people in your group, which then grants a variety of buffs for a short time.

Helm: Gain 1000 Max HP for each ally in your team.
Chest: Gain 200 Def for each ally in your team.
Arms: Gain 200 Power for each ally in your team.
Feet: Your Run Speed increases by 1% for each ally in your team.

The 4 different Pioneer rings all are item level 440 also, double-slotted, but no double defense or offense slots. And no Crit/Power combo, just Crit/Arm Pen, Crit/Rec, Power/Rec, and HP/Defl.
The Pioneer Rings though have bonuses that focus on gaining stats after killing enemies.

Pioneer Assault Ring: Crit/Arm Pen: When you kill an enemy, your Arm Pen increases by 5% for 10 seconds.
Pioneer Raid Ring: Crit/Rec: When you kill an enemy, your Crit increases by 5% for 10 seconds.
Pioneer Restoration Ring: Power/Rec: When you kill an enemy, your Rec increases by 5% for 10 seconds.
Pioneer Ward Ring: HP/Defl: When you kill an enemy, your Defl increases by 5% for 10 seconds.

OK, it might be random. I did 2 runs yesterday and only got about 1300 total. Still not too bad. Got my achievement out of the way though!

I just grabbed the last piece and it didn't unlock. I salvaged the others so it may be you have to have them all on person for it to count. I'll update if it pops later on. :/

Collected a Pioneer armor set

For this achievement you need a full set of pioneer gear (helm, chest, arms & boots) you will not need the rings.
first you must reach level 70 (max level) then unlock chult. Next you need 11,000 Chultan Riches
Chultan Riches drop from almost anything you do in Chult! HE's, fishing, Quests, and other miscellaneous stuff. 7 from running TONG. If you are a lower item level player then I would just fish for them, Now if you are a higher item level player and have good team to farm TONG then you can get about 1k Chultan Riches each run (12 -45 minutes per run depending on team) This video will show you how to get the Pioneer gear, till next time stay Frosty!
