Use the Director mode for a full race

How to unlock the The Director achievement

    Actions
    This needs to be done in a private online race. You need at least 2 players to a) start the race and b) have someone act as Director.

    My recommended settings for the lobby:
    Vehicle - Formula X
    Track - Knockhill Tri-Oval
    Race settings
    Duration Type - Laps
    Number of Laps - 1
    Start Type - Standing

    Host settings
    Privacy - Private
    Broadcast - ON (this must be enabled to get the achievement)
    Realism settings
    Damage Type - Off
    Force Cooldwon Lap - No
    Opponent settings
    Maximum Grid Size - 2
    Fill with AI - No
    Opponent Field Type - Same class
    Rules and Regulations
    Rules & Penalties - Off
    Competitive Racing License - Off

    Once the lobby is created the Host can select another player (or himself) and then "set as race director". Then a white clapperboard will appear next to the name (4th symbol).
    Now just start the race. When the race is finished the achievement will be unlocked for the Director.
    Note: The Director does not need to act, he can just sit back and watch.

    JasonArizonaIf you are in a public lobby, and someone leaves and you become host, you can also nominate yourself as director. I don't know if this is a bug (patch 6), but it worked for me.

    Y2Kasper10Doing this identical settings and lobby keeps going to 4 and won't start? Max grid 2 but constantly needs 4 to start
