    PREVIOUS (OUTDATED) SOLUTION:

    Obvious part: Obtain 50 driver gear suits.

    Optimal method:
    ------------------------

    Buy 70k CR crates and do NOT choose driver gear when leveling up.

    Reasoning is to maximize other parts of your progress. The 70k CR crates come with car and driver gear each time. When leveling up, chose the car and saved the reward if you cannot afford it. It's the most optimal way, and doesn't waste a car for driver gear which is useless in the game outside of these achievements.

    Quickest method (not recommended):

    If you want to go after this achievement the quickest, which I do not recommend, then also choose driver gear when leveling up.

    EDIT: Apparently Forza 7 was updated to not have any cars in crates anymore. Adjust your efforts as necessary.

    There are two ways to acquire driver suits. You can either choose one as a level up reward or get one from a loot crate, the cheapest costing 70,000CR.

    It is important to note that, unlike the car collection achievements, multiple copies of the same driver suit DO NOT count, since the game does not give you a second copy of the suit but gives you 5,000CR instead. Because of this, if you already have the car achievements, I recommend choosing the driver suits for your level up reward until you have the achievements for them.

    GordonDogKingCurrently, a driver suit is the award for completing one of the three weekly challenges. Also note: Turn Ten has announced that they will be eliminating loot boxes in the near future, and it is unknown if driver suits will be sold like cars are or not.

    DO NOT pick the driver suit each time you level up. Instead pick the 50k credits. Every six minutes the Race Shop restocks with four new driver suits to purchase (ranging from 10k-300k credits). If you’re still saving up for the 700 cars achievement just keep buying 10k or 25k suits until you have this achievement.
