The first step is to complete the entire Bruz quest line and unlock Skill Upgrade: Worse Than Death. Once unlocked, equip it.

Next, you'll need to find an enemy assassin in the army menu. You can use a worm to find intel on captains, or shun an assassin follower to turn them against you. You can even use loot box cards to summon the follower you need if necessary. You can see their whether they are an assassin underneath their name or in their details under Class Traits and Advanced Class.

With the skill equipped and an enemy assassin, you will need to find them and dominate them, and then use the Shame - Worse Than Death option until they become deranged. There is a chance that this skill will actually raise their level instead, but just keep trying until it works; it may take multiple attempts.

Warboy925Damn, still trying this, my first assassin wouldn't become deranged after 3 tries and I couldn't get him in the "green" bc he was so much lower leveled then I ayt this point , so I let the QTE run its course....at least I got "Nemesis" cheevo out of it, lol

Albert ScaleThis one seems a little buggy but in a good way. It popped for me when shaming an online revenge target. I hadn't purchased the Worse Than Death skill, he was an online target so this was his first shaming and he was a Marksman class orc. So, it popped for me without hitting any of the criteria.

thatNoseyParkerI actually shamed a captain (not assassin though) and made them deranged without that perk. I'm guessing the perk just increases the chance?

You must shame a captain with the title of assassin. Mine was a poison assassin and I had to shame him about 7 times. You just need to hunt them down and get their health low to shame them. After you do it enough times he will become deranged and your achievement should pop.

Jamiereloaded23I've managed to shame 5 different Assassins now and I am still yet to get the achievement to unlock so I am unsure what I am doing wrong. I've followed this video and another yet it still isn't working :( Good video though so thanks for the help.

Assassin Corvo@ Jamiereloaded If you haven't got the 'Shame-worse than death' skill it can take many shames on the same orc. Once you unlock the afore mentioned skill then you'll get to shame & derange much easier.

Assassin CorvoI got it,it was a pain in the butt though. This one and the 'Trolling' (Riding an olog kill) took hours to get due to the randomness of some of these orcs. They're part of the reason I love this game but these 2 achievements were a pain because of them.Probably did 20+ shamings altogether.
