The easiest set is not the Bright Lord set, but the Vendetta set, especially as you don't have to complete the Shadow Wars to obtain it. It is available during Act 2, as soon as you obtain the ring.
Note: once you complete Act III, you are given a special legendary set which is not obtainable through normal gameplay. Until Act III, the collection does not appear in the Legendary Sets of the Inventory menu, for spoiler reasons. You can choose to wait until then, or if you want to earn a set earlier, follow below.
Note 2: If you have the The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion for Middle-earth: Shadow of War, you will obtain 5 legendary sets as part of the side quests required for Complete in Defeat in Middle-earth: Shadow of War. They are mission rewards and each region has a new set..
To access the Legendary Vendetta set:
- Press
to access the menus
- Select Inventory
- Scroll to the furthest right option and select View Legendary Sets
- Select the Vendetta list (5th right, top row - image is a red X)
You need to obtain 6 different Legendary items for this set, but some can be obtained at the same time. The list is as follows:
Vendetta Sword: Complete your first Vendetta Mission and finish all objectives
- Vendetta Dagger: Use a Stealth Attack against an Online Vendetta target
- Vendetta Bow: Get a headshot on an Online Vendetta target
- Vendetta Armor: Kill an Online Vendetta while above 80% HP
- Vendetta Cloak: Use a mounted attack against an Online Vendetta target
- Vendetta Ringcraft: Dominate an Online Vendetta target
This can be done in under two hours. Focus on the weaknesses and strengths of targets. A lot of Vendettas seem to take place in forts, so use your environment to your gain.
I did this in Núrnen, where the fort has a couple of drake baits. I found it beneficial to attract them, and let them cause damage whilst I ran around doing what needed to be done. When the drake was broken, I mounted him and caused further damage, taking out all of the captains for their equipment and dealing with the target when applicable. Note that you do need to unlock the Shadow Mount and Dragon Rider skills in the Mounted section of the skill tree.
For the cloak, you can either use the Call Mount or Shadow Mount skills. Caragor Breaker is also useful, and all three are found under Mounted in the skill tree.
