You must first qualify for the PPV event (coincide with real life PPV event times) which is to achieve 20 stars which you gain by putting on good matches.
Once you've qualified you have to complete 3 of the 5 challenges.
Once you have completed the challenges you are able to compete in the "main event" which is a PPV themed match against the computer.
Win the match and you get the achievement.

For a more in depth look at this achievement, I have made a video guide:

WARNING: The online servers for this game are planning to shutdown on May 31st 2019. To avoid not being pleased with the outcome, I suggest you get all of the online achievements done for the game, as soon as possible, before the closure.

Besides the "Team Up" achievement, the online achievements for WWE 2K18 have changed compared to the previous WWE 2K games, in which they are all now tied within the "MyPlayer" Game Mode.

Among all of the online achievements you have to do, this one is considered to be the hardest. You have to win a Main Event in the "Road To Glory" Menu.

First things first, if you haven't done so yet, you will need to create a Custom Made Character of your choice in "MyPlayer". So go ahead and make whatever type of Wrestler you fancy taking into the real world.

Now you will have to get qualified for a PPV Event and also complete 3 of 5 Challenges in order to participate in a Main Event match. With this in mind, I will provide you links to some other solutions I did to help you out if your stuck...

Solution for Star collector in WWE 2K18

Solution for Gauntlet runner in WWE 2K18

Once you have completed all of the above which the solutions provide, you can go into the Main Event. This is done by pressing the cn_RB button in the "Road To Glory" Menu. You will then be loaded into the Main Event.

The Main Event will usually be a match against an A.I opponent/s. There is one catch though. They will be placed on the highest difficulty in the game, which alone makes this extremely difficult, because you've got to Reverse just about every possible move they do against you, or you will get your ass kicked.
Reversing is done by pressing the cn_RT button when the times right. Keep an eye on your screen if you are getting beaten up to press the button when prompt. You will also need to practice how to get out of Pinfalls and Submissions, as they will likely do a handful of these to get you eliminated quickly.
And... if you have a Signature or Finisher, don't be surprised if they will try and Reverse it and steal it to their advantage.

You are strongly advised to play MyCareer to get your character upgraded, so you have a decent chance in beating up the A.I opponent, because if you create one, your Overall Performance will be around the 50's. And chances are these A.I opponents will have an Overall Performance of 90+, meaning they will be way stronger than yourself.

Many people suggest getting your opponent out of the ring, knocking them around and then getting a "Count Out" as a win, however you won't be able to do this in every match type as I had a Hell In A Cell against Randy Orton. He was a right f**k, but obviously a Hell In a Cell doesn't allow you to do Count Outs.

Tip: This is something I wouldn't recommend you go for unless you have the money in your pocket and you are willing to make your character slightly more stronger with little to no effort. There is a DLC pack you can purchase called a "Kickstarter Pack". It has got a lot of negative feedback because of what you get at the high required price it asks for.
Basically if you we're to buy this "Kickstarter Pack", it would give you a total of 10 Attribute Points you can apply to your Custom Made Characters and an additional 50,000 Credits. Be-aware that these extra items can only be applied once across all your characters and you will never get them back, so choose wisely.
I actually decided to purchase this and made my Custom Character Stronger in an attempt to beat Randy Orton. The Attribute Points increased my Overall from 58 to 62 as I decided to max out my strength on Reversals, upgrade a bit of my Grappling and my Toughness. The extra money I had was used to purchase my over Saved Slot Custom Made Characters the right to access the Main PPV Event. If you feel as though you should need to purchase this pack, you can have a look at it on this page...

Overall, my advice would be to upgrade your character to a decent potential, practice against this bot, find their weak spots and use them to your advantage. If you cannot beat them, try another Main Event in the near future. Once you have won any Main Event Match, you will get this achievement.

Finally to show you how tough this fight will be, I actually managed to record myself beating Randy Orton in the Hell In A Cell Match I did to get the achievement. As you will see in the video, I only managed to beat him on the skin of my teeth...

I wish you the best of luck in getting this achievement. Your going to need it.
