Longblaster Rifles are those used by the specialist class and are the sniper rifles of Star Wars.

To access the specialist class, choose Specialist when selecting your loadout when in a game as seen below. There are 4 Longblaster rifles in the class with one being unlocked by default.

The kills can be gotten in any game-type where you can access the Specialist class and are cumulative across all matches.

I would suggest playing Galactic Assault (20vs20) and posting up in a position overlooking the objective. I had a lot better luck getting the kills defending. IQA-11is the 4th sniper you can get in the specialist class and is capable of a 1 shot headshot.

On Star Killer base in the first section when defending, you have a very high vantage point over looking the first two objectives and is very easy to pop some heads that way if you can aim decently well. I was able to get 22-2 in one game with most of those kills being headshots. This game is quite easy to use these rifles as there is no moving or breathing when scoping. You still have to lead your shots but it isn't to bad. Just keep at it!

BackupBlackDoesn't seem to be working in coop for me. I've got well over 100 headshot kills and the tracker isn't moving.

MartyFSMI can confirm that this DOES work in co op, I was playing first order missions and was using specialist with his original weapon. A headshot only counts if it says marksmen on the side of your screen, I got this over a few games no problem.

grinandXBOXI also found this does work on Co-op, however, it only seemed to work for me on certain maps such as Tatooine.

The Nerds ClubIt works on several maps not just Tatooine.

Drakon Omega 9I can confirm co-op works a treat, thank you to everyone who suggested it

Myths ArmadaI did this only in co-op however it stopped counting after a while so I had to change faction and got it almost straight away. I think that assist headshots might not count only kill headshots.

Reverend M3TAJanuary 2021 can confirm this works in co-op, but I think Myths Armada is correct in that only kill-shots count.

Bunny BreakfastScarif, the beach looking map, also doesn't count for headshots in Co-Op

SuperRobZillaFeb 2021 - This doesn’t seem to count for me or my friends. We must of had 15-20 head shots with long rifles per round, we even tried each faction. Progress is stuck at 20%.

OperativeEmeralThanks for the heads up in waiting to work on this until unlocking the IQA-11; got nearly all 25 in one match with that rifle. That thing is scary.
