I did this with two controllers and in the same game I got the 300 rush yards with the jets. I started a game playing the dolphins and set their difficulty to All Madden with mine as the Jets as Rookie. These are the plays I picked. For the dolphins on offense Pass/Quick Pass/TE Stick. And on the Jets defense I would pick Formation/Quarter/Normal/Cover 3. Hike the ball and float a pass to X. Watch the ball and as soon as it gets in front of your jets defensive player hit B then spam Y. I got 7 in 4 mins like this. When you get the interception punt the ball back to the dolphins and repeat. Everytime I passed to the x guy I had three defenders surrounding him.

Mr DopeGamingAll the way in 2019 this is still helping people out. I just got this achievement with the exact setup you mentioned (Jets vs Dolphins). I did not even need to control the defense as literally every throw was an interception. I can also confirm that you can quit after you get your 6 (I did 7 to be safe)

Vman0922Worked beautifully. Also paired it with the Jets rushing achievement and had it done with 0:45 on the clock in the first quarter. Also was able to quit and get the achievements. Thanks for the guide!

This is more of a time saving tip than an actual solution. You DO NOT have to finish the game as everyone thinks. You can nab the cheevo(make sure you know that you completed it) and simply quit after that. NO more running the clock out just quit and during the loaded screen...BLOOP! (BTW this applies to all achievements in this game).

Incubus's solution is great, but I just want to throw out some tips for those who don't have access to a second controller.

Teams don't matter too much but it will go quicker if you choose a team with high defense against a crappy passing team. I recommend you be the Steelers against the Raiders.

(I did it as the Titans while going for a separate achievement but they kind of suck.)

When setting up the game, make sure you give your team an infinite amount of rewinds. You can change this in the settings directly after choosing your team. Also set the difficulty to rookie and play selection skill to intermediate. I also recommend 10 minute quarters to be safe, but you can probably do it in 5 minute quarters without too much trouble.

    Now here are the tricks:

    1) Always choose 'pass defense, middle coverage'

    2) Before the play starts, hit 'X' for audible and then up on the right joystick for man coverage

    3) If there is a pass play and you don't intercept it, rewind the play and give it a second try

    4) If you get the ball, run backwards (or maybe forwards) to opposing team's 30 yard line (leaving you with 70 more yards for a touchdown) and kick a field goal. You will miss because its so far away. Tthis will instantly give the other team the ball back and they will be close to a touchdown which gives them less room to throw the ball and packs them in more.

The computer will do all the work from there. Just keep setting it up this way and you should get it in no time!

Blackwing21997Practically a bad team to do it against. All the Raiders do is run the ball. I'm lucky I got the 6

REBORN GAIDIN is right, this can be done rather easily in a one player game. To add to Reborn's solution, I used the Titans and went against the Atlanta Falcons (they are one of the worst teams in the game, and they like to pass).
I chose 7 minute quarters and using infinite rewinds is very helpful.
I had my 6 interceptions by the end of the 3rd quarter. Here's how:
Each time you're on defense, select a play By Formation, then select 3-4 formation, select Stack, and then select Cover 3 for your play.
As Reborn said, before the snap, chose X for your audible and then up on the right joystick to select man coverage.
If you want to try to intercept on your own, choose to be the Safety and hit Y for the interception when the ball is coming towards you. If you'd rather have the AI's do the work, select one of the defense lineman as your player. If the opposing team catches the ball, use your rewind as the quarterback will often (but not always) throw to the same receiver after the rewind.
