Each of the game's main levels contain hidden tablets, scattered all throughout the level. There are a total of 40 per level. You can check your tablet progress when you upload your save file or by checking the in-game menu (which may show only as the 'pause' menu in certain areas).

The good news: These tablets only have to be found once, unlike the crystals achievements which must be done per each difficulty level.
The bad news: The levels are fairly non-linear and not every section of a level is particularly distinct, which means that making a detailed location guide is quite difficult. Instead, I have posted as many tips as I can, all of which helped me find all the tablets in this section.

Obviously, it is easiest to attempt this on the Easiest difficulty, as you can pretty much hook to anything.
1.) Use your ears! Make sure you are playing with the sound on and turned up. Whenever you are near a tablet, you will hear the sound of crumbling rock.
2.) Use your eyes! Periodically take a look around your surroundings. Do a full 360 degree scan and be sure to look up and down. It is often easier to see tablets from a distance (if they are not concealed).
3.) Make tablets your priority! As you explore the areas for crystals, you will sometimes see or hear nearby tablets. At this point, you should stop what you are doing and direct your attention to the tablet. The crystals are easier to locate, and trying to make a 'mental note' to a tablets location and return to it later is never a good idea.
4.) Take the high ground! It is a safe bet that the highest sections of the level will contain some useful things (crystals and tablets). Furthermore, you will encounter other tablets on your way to the top (remember to stop and find each tablet you hear along the way). Lastly, once you reach the top, you will have a grand view that may give you visuals on tablets or suspicious looking areas that may hide them.
5.) Explore unique areas! You will see lots of trees, rocks and platforms. Occasionally, you will see or happen across distinct terrain (like the giant hand of an ancient guardian). These areas usually house hidden tablets.
6.) Create a grid! Although the levels are not always distinct or linear you can try and focus on certain areas of the level and direct your attention specifically in that area. For example, in the jungle, I split the stage into the spawn point and the area immediately behind it; the section with the ancient guardian; and the busy area that gets really high. I would try to stick around those specific areas and look and listen for signs of tablets.
7.) Take the low ground! As a last resort, I would revisit each section of a level and try swinging around the base of each 'pillar' looking for low lying cut-outs or hidden rooms that may contain the last few tablets.

Hope this info helps. I didn't make any videos or post any pictures, but using the above strategies, it took me maybe a total of 3 and half hours to find all the Jungle tablets.
