The Sky Sniper was the first boss I really felt comfortable with on my first attempt on. I will say there is a story spoiler to this fight, but I can't really describe it without some spoilers here. I'll try to tiptoe around it though.

The boss is 2 large phases -1 Sniper and 2 Snipers

Lelantos really is easy to dodge for the most part. He has three attacks during the whole fight:
1) Sniper Shots
2) Spires
3) Tail Swipe

The attacks in general aren't terribly difficult. In conjunction they can be a little more troubling. Here's my overall thoughts on each.

1) Sniper shots are telegraphed easily. You have some time before they shot to move. Even the shot that is specifically aimed at you is simple to move out of the way of without getting hit.

2) Spires will be warning circles before they come up. There are two varieties here. One will follow you and rise quickly while the other will be random and spread throughout the screen.

3) The Tail Swipe only occurs if you're close to Lelantos. Just don't stick close to him for real long and this won't be an issue.

In terms of party, I don't really think it matters. At this point, my team was Engineer and Tank. I think Sniper could have worked well for taking shots from distance, but I have my doubts in terms of when other enemies were on screen.

When enemies come on screen, Lelantos will leave the screen and take up an off-screen position to shoot at you. He will alternate between single shots and fanned shots. Don't search for him until the enemies are gone. These enemies can be random, but don't be surprised to see (or not see hahaha) snipers in the bunch. Luckily the screen is pretty big so you can likely focus on the enemies and specifically the most troublesome ones for you first and leave the others further away while you do it. As I said, I waited to pursue Lelantos's position until after the smaller enemies were all dead.

After getting Lelantos down to about 50% health, he will pause and a short cutscene will play out. Lelantos's health will refill and their will be two on screen. Each one has their own separate health bar. My best tip here is to try and focus on one at a time. Unfortunately this is easier said than done. Here is the general flow of the fight:

- Focus on 1 Lelantos. Get him down to 50% health. He will go off screen and take shots at you off screen. Lelantos #2 will stay and continue his original patterns while a few enemies come on screen. Take care of the smaller enemies. Keep your distance from Lelantos #2 while doing this.

- At this point there are two possibilities. My first time in this fight, I was able to get back to Lelantos #1 with Lelantos #2 following. My second time however, Lelantos #2 wouldn't follow me. If he follows you, finish off Lelantos #1 before getting #2 to 50% health. If he doesn't follow you, get Lelantos #2 down to to 50% and kill his minions that come on screen when he leaves. After taking out the minions, then pursue them and take one out.

The fight is a little slow at times, but his patterns aren't too difficult to get at. Take your time and Lelantos should go down pretty easily.
