This is the hardest achievement in the game, but I managed to figure out the controls and I will try to explain them.

The team I use for this are the NEO CRASHERS (3rd down on left side). I don't think the team matters much, but different teams have different visual effects (eg, fire, lightning) so all of my explanations are based on that teams visuals, which are fire based.

The score is added only after you win a game, and the amount of score you get is purely based on how much time you have left. It increases slightly every round, so obviously to maximise score, you want to complete each game as quickly as possible. The opponent teams get more difficult, so you will want to maximise your score in earlier rounds. I couldn't beat the 4th team, so my solution will be based on how to get 20k+ in the first 3 games.

You will need to aim to finish your games with approx 4 minutes remaining to aim for 20k+ in 3 opponents, otherwise you will fall short.

There are 3 parts to this game. Serve, Attacking and Defending.

I found almost no point to messing with different serves as the opponent can return them easily almost every time. The only serve I found worthwhile is a jumping powerserve. Sometimes the opponent has trouble and returns it softly to set you up for an easy point.

To Jumping Power Serve....

a) Wait until the top middle robot shows you a 5. This means you have 5 seconds to take the shot. A little early and the power shot won't register.
b) Hit cn_rightcn_rightcn_A. Your character will run and jump up at the ball.
c) Still holding cn_right, press cn_A as the ball flashes RED.

If you did it right, the ball should be in flames and heading to the opponents side. This will very rarely go out, but occasionally will. You can see an example of this at 0:08 seconds into the video below. Do this for every serve.

Ok, so the ball is on your opponents side. I would completely ignore jumping up at the net to block as I don't think it's possible to pull off (at least I couldn't). The trick with defending is to not press any buttons. All you do is position yourself in the correct place and your player will automatically hit it. For most defences, try to look out for a blue arrow pointing at a place on the court. This is where you need to stand to defend the ball (you actually need to be a tiny bit forward or it may miss sometimes). An example of this blue arrow is at 0:15 seconds into the video below.

Quite often though the blue arrow doesn't appear. If it does not, you'll have to use your judgement. If they spike (smash it) it, I generally sit in the middle of the court. If they do a special or weird hit, then it could disappear, or wobble all over the place, or curve really strangely. If they do this, you will just have to restart or learn the movement of these hits.

In volleyball, you get 3 hits per side. I will assume you just defended, so that is 1 hit with the ball moving towards your guys at the net (if the ball isn't going to your guys at the net, then you were badly placed, or defended a power hit). You have 2 hits left.

There are many options of shot here, but I'll keep it simple and restrict it to only 2.
a) If opponent player is at the back of the court, you want to spike it short. Do cn_leftcn_left. Keep holding cn_left until the ball turns red and then tap cn_A. The second shot is automatic and does not require any button press.
b) If opponent player is closer to his team mates at the net, then you want to smash it to the back of the court. Do cn_rightcn_right. Keep holding cn_right until the ball turns red and tap cn_A.

NOTE: If you do cn_leftcn_left or cn_rightcn_right early enough after your defend, then your player will power spike. This will do more damage than a regular shot and is the key to finishing matches quicker. You will know you did this because fire appears on your ball as you hit it. I think there's also a visual flash on your player just before you hit the ball also.

NOTE2: From match 3 onwards, the opponent will adjust his defensive position based on whether you are pushing cn_left or cn_right. If this happens, you can just push the opposite direction at the last second before hitting the ball with cn_A. It will no longer powershot, but should win the point to do at least normal damage, If you don't do this, there is a high possibility the opponent will return the ball.
