How to unlock the Speed Daemon achievement

There will be two new quest from cindy, one to gather tires and the king of the road (race quest).

After finishing both, 2 more races will appear near

    1. Coernix Station - Cauthess
    2. Vesperpool

Check the map and you can see both areas will have a racing icon, finish them and achievement will pop. Thankfully, all the races are not hard at all in comparison to prompto's racing achievement. The races just have to be finished within the time limit and I did all the races first try even though I went out of course a lot of times due to bumping into rocks and trees. All the best and hope this helps wave

AllgorhythmYou're welcome. As you point out, the main thing is hitting the checkpoints. It's not a 'speed' race like the Prompto time trials.

CYKO7IKif anyone is still playing comrades I need help lvling up and getting whatever I need to beat ifirit at the end. please help

Allgorhythm@CYKO7IK, in my opinion, the issue is not so much of leveling up as it is to have super powered weapons. You should be able to beat Ifrit, without too much difficulty, around level 35--providing you have four weapons each with about 500-600 strength. You don't need special weapons against most enemies. Ifrit, though, is different. He is so robust you really need a weapon of a certain threshold to get through to him. Because Ifrit requires specialized weapons, I created a thread to discuss how to easily get them: Weapon Crafting in Comrades--Case Study: Ifrit. Note that once you have these kickass weapons, leveling becomes a piece of cake.

It is imortant to know that weapons in all four slots contribute to your stats. You don't have to use them. So, you can use your favorite weapon and put stat boosters in the other three slots. Sigils are important, too. I first defeated Ifrit with Aerial Ace but now think that the Fierce's damage per second is even more effective. I have a guide that gives more info about Ifrit but the really important thing is to have high strength weapons:

segagamerMan, going from Forza to this... I hope Square doesn't think it has a chance in the racing genre.

FiveWizzI'm on chapter 15 now after finishing the game. All quests have been reset and I can't see the blueprints or icons? Can't seem to start this mission.

qManballin@FiveWizz - not sure if you were able to figure it out, but I was able to do Chapter Select back to Ch. 10 I think and after finishing a few of the normal Regalia upgrade quests, the blueprints finally was able to be used and started the off-roading Regalia questline

AlgurWhoever designed the controls for driving in this game was an absolute fool.

MattiasAndersonThis is so easy! Have mover than a minute left when finishing the races and on first attempt. 1m 36 seconds.

So it is nowhere near as hard as Promtos races!

Only problem is that I have won all 3 races and no achievement. I will do them again and hopefully it unlocks.

EDIT: Unlocked after I did the coemix station race again!
