This is not a complete solution phase to phase guide on how to kill the boss but a semi recommendation on how to beat and to show where his location is.

This can be done in Chapter 14 (replay it in chapter selection if you finish the game) and get the founder king's sigil beforehand (new armiger)

Location of founder king's sigil :

Give an upvote to the person's guide while you are it.

So in Chapter 14, there will be new areas. You will encounter and he will introduce to a new campsite. Talk to him again he will give you a key and make your way out of there and there will be a cutscene
    *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***

    Location of the boss
X marks your location after the cutscene and the boss will be where I circled. Go up the stairs on your left and pass the enemy base and keep going down the street and a cutscene will start in that area.

    Now recommendation:

Good news : You can beat him on easy.
Bad news: He is invulnerable to the ring of lucii, so no insta kill cry

It took me (lvl 120) 45 minutes to beat him on normal by spamming the armiger 3 tech bar move and two summons. The boss was lvl 119, not sure if its set or scaled depending your level. He can pretty much instant kill you with some moves (shoots lasers does explosives). He has a phase where he goes crazy and moves randomly and is invincible. He is only invincible when he is not moving and surrounded by the red shield (Credits to Allgorhythm). Just avoid him for a while and let him cool down. There also times where he also goes full on invisible and you have to wait for him to appear again. Just keep hitting him and stock up some elixirs and phoenix down just in case you get into trouble. Hopefully this helps, good luck and all the best wave.

UPDATE : check the comments in this solution by Xboxoholic, Allgorhythm and MuscleSenpai, kudos to them - they provide great tips on how to beat the boss. So I definitely recommend you to read the comments.

Also, in the comments, Allgorhythm has provided the best method to level up and better prepare yourself for the boss. Do check it out if you feel like you wanna level up first beforehand.

NOTE : THERE IS A GLITCH WHERE AFTER YOU BEAT HIM, DON'T READ THE Omega's BESTIARY IN THE ARCHIVE SECTION, IT WILL MAKE YOUR GAME FREEZE AND BASICALLY YOU HAVE TO RELOAD ON YOUR LAST SAVE. SO SAVE THE GAME FIRST AND JUST A NOTE THIS GLITCH DOESN'T AFFECT YOUR ACHIEVEMENT IN ANY WAY BUT KINDA A BUZZKILL IF YOU BEAT THE BOSS AND YOU DIDN'T SAVE WHICH HAPPENED TO ME.

AbsohailJust heads up if someone is playing this game. All you need is 999 potency electrons. Took about 10 spell (3 i was off target with 3 spells that mostly missed him) to kill him easily. I farmed adamantine using the ring of lucci to get 8 of them(my RNG sucked) and crafted 95 spells with 999 potency. I believe you could do it with zu beaks as well. Just heads up, do take phoenix dawns with you as he can still 1 shot and aim for his legs. Just a heads up, i had already finished the game and DID NOT chapter select. Just went to the present and to the location he spwans and a cutscene triggered.

GtechApocalypseGood guide i couldnt seem do do any damange but i was really under leveled. I did have a few ultimate limit break magic and after i used it all up i did some decent damage so i went and farmed 3 sets of 20 times magic limit break. and was hitting him for about 7-16k i was only a level 72 with not much magic boost. Ended up using 12 revives and 15 heals.

MattiasAndersonNever used any magic in the entire game and I have beat every dungeon and quests from the main game. Only got this left and I still refuse to learn about the magic in the game. I never really understood it early on so never touched it. lol This one takes a long time to beat even if I am level 100.

I used a different strategy to beat Omega. Instead of attacking Omega's antenna (which causes it to go into rage mode, making it immune to damage and strengthening its attacks), only attack its legs or body. I found the fight much more manageable this way. I recommend using the Armiger Accelerator and Founder King's Sigil on Noctis. These should be switched out with each other during the fight. The Armiger Accelerator should be used to build up Noctis' Armiger Bar. When the bar is full, switch out the Accelerator for the Founder King's Sigil. Equipping the Sigil changes Noctis' Armiger into Armiger Unleashed, which lasts much longer and deals significantly more damage than the standard Armiger. It also allows Noctis to use stronger Techniques and combo attacks. When Armiger Unleashed expires, switch back to the Armiger Accelerator and repeat.

For preparation, I recommend having all party members be at least level 99. I was level 100 when I defeated Omega. I would recommend equipping a Rainbow Pendant or Ribbon on Noctis and Ignis to prevent Confusion. Ignis needs to be alive so he can use Enhancement on Noctis, which boosts his damage output. The best weapon to equip on Noctis for this fight is the Zwill Crossblades, which is obtained from completing the Wondrous Weapon quest. The best food to use is Scientia-Style Sushi, which causes all attacks to be critical hits and boosts Strength by 75%. The recipe is fairly easy to acquire by catching a Styrial Bluefin Tuna in the Cygilian Sea near where Bismarck appears. Use Golden Tail Soup if you don't have the recipe for the sushi. Gladio and Prompto are useless for dealing damage in this fight, but they are worth keeping alive as decoys. You should have a large supply of Mega Phoenixes from playing through the game but if you don't have those, use Phoenix Downs, Elixirs and Megalixirs to heal/revive party members as needed. Use them liberally as you won't need them after beating Omega. I beat Omega in around 15 minutes using this method. It may not be the quickest method but it is safe.

Hey. Just finished this after a 90 hour grind to get to this point. I was level 99, and just used maxed out magic. I followed this guide and collected Bird Beaks from this boss until I had enough level 999' Electron magic to finish it off.
