How to Unlock. This is unlocked when you acquire all 13 Royal Sigils that correspond to the Royal Weapons in the main game. Until the March 2018 update, not all sigils were available. Now, they are. All but one are collected by unlocking nodes on the map except for The Father. The Father is a reward for defeating Ifrit. Ifrit is a new final boss of Comrades made available in the March 2018 update.

The above is the solution in a nutshell. However, if you are finding the Ifrit battle either challenging or tedious, you probably need much more powerful weapons. The following describes how to get some of the most powerful weapons in Comrades that will not only make the Ifrit battle much more manageable but will help in all other missions as well. If you are interested continue to read:

Edited to add Ifrit three minute battle: I've had lots of questions about the Ifrit fight. So, I have a short video that shows my setup and the fight itself.

Most of the damage is done by standard warp strikes converted by The Fierce Sigils into high DPS attacks. Note the hit count during the warp strikes. At the 1:04 minute mark, the All Creation special move is used. It lands four hits as you can see at the 1:05 mark. Each of the hits delivers over 8,000 damage. Because of the fast pace and Ifrit's position, it doesn't show that clearly. There are pros and cons to using this special attack. The pros is it delivers high damage. The cons is that you have to be on the ground to execute it. You might prefer to remain in the air and defeat Ifrit with the conventional attacks.

: You need powerful weapons to fight Ifrit. If you need some pointers in how to acquire and craft weapons that are effective against Ifrit, please refer to this thread: Weapon Crafting in Comrades--Case Study: Ifrit. To make this guide more concise, I removed weapon crafting pointers and put them in a separate thread.

Fighting Ifrit. Once you are geared up, you can take on Ifrit. Take the vehicle to Insomnia. Before you leave for Insomnia, equip the sigil and equipment you want to use. You will not have a chance to change once you select Insomnia. Once your stats are through the roof, warp in/warp out tactics are very effective. You can augment them with the sigil you choose. The Tall gives increased strength and a strength boost spell. Aerial Ace gives you increased damage with warp strikes and was the one I first used. The Fierce charges up and gives a very powerful blast. I used that for the rematch against an amped up version of Ifrit on steroids. And so on.

Note: Players have different play styles so choose the sigil that suits your play style. I have tested most of the sigils against Ifrit and, personally, recommend The Fierce because of its very high damage per second. The high frequency of attacks compensates for Ifrit's high defenses.

A cut scene precedes the fight. You will get three AI party members. They are less effective than normal AI companions and do not have any food to resurrect themselves when they die. Two of them died pretty quickly on me while an AI named Libertus stayed alive throughout the fight.

When you defeat Ifrit, a cut scene follows and you get The Father as a reward. Assuming that you have picked up the other 12 royal sigils on the map by clearing nodes, you will unlock the achievement.

You resume your game where you left off before you took the vehicle to Insomnia. There will be two new missions--rematches against Bahamut and Ifrit both at level 99.
