After learning how to do Fatal Strikes in the ruined city, do one in battle against an enemy. For more info, read the Fatal Strikes guides in the game itself on how to do them, what it most effective, etc.

After the tutorial on Fatal Strikes I used Yuri's Wolf Strike on a Howler( Green Birds). They are located in the same area, Caer Bocram.

Using the Wolf Strike repeatedly then pressing the Right Trigger when you see the red circle around the enemy to finish the enemy with a Fatal Strike.
