How to unlock the Get a Real Hit Next Time achievement

    I got this on ego 20 without editing any teams.

    Play as the Overdogs, vs the freebooters. Overdogs are speedsters, and Freebooters have low defensive rating. Make the Overdogs the away team so they bat first.

    Adjust the lineup so all the left batting players are at the top of the lineup. There are four of them in the default starting lineup. This way you start out with players who will reach first faster, running from the right batters box (every player except the pitcher is fast in this lineup).

    When bunting, press the left thumbstick up a bit while holding cn_B so you don't pop-up, which can result in an easy out. Also aim with the left thumbstick to the right or left to attempt a bunt down the first or third base line. I got it with the third batter I attempted it with. Just keep trying and eventually you'll get it.

    Yes you can edit player ratings but that's way more work than necessary for this achievement.

    To add to the above comment: you won't get this achievement if you have a runner on base. Or at least I wasn't able to. Twice I got on base with a bunt, but I had runners on. It only popped for me once I was able to it with the bases empty.

    When batting. hold cn_B to bunt.

    To give yourself the best chance, use an all-99 team vs an all-0 CPU team in a 0 ego exhibition. I got this on the 2nd pitch, inexplicably right down the 1st base line. Somehow they didn't tag me out and didn't make the throw.
