For Stalwart you must learn every battle skill from every character. You can only obtain this achievement on normal difficulty or higher.

Most skills are learned as your characters level up. The last skill your characters will learn level wise is Aya's "Devouring Vulture" skill at level 64, all other characters learn there last skills at level 56 and below.

The rest of the skills must be written in the form of books. Rico must be at IC Level 6 and you must complete the Writing Upgrade Quest (which will become available once you load your endgame save).

    Writing Quest

Head to Port Zala and talk to Rico on the beach to start the quest. He will ask you to bring him some different materials:

2 Clerks Quill, 1 Genius Quill, 2 Lunatite, and 2 Armalista

Armalista and Lunatite can be bought from merchants if you download the free "A" voucher.

Genius Quill can be forged by Seraphina or found in some treasure chests.(To forge you will need a Dragon Fang, which is dropped by Dragontail Vipers in the Luce Plains section of the Seraphic Gate, but you must get a Player Advantage on them. and a Pius Wood, which is dropped by the Gigas's found on the Graad Woods section of the Seraphic Gate and is a very common drop.)

Clerks Quill can be forged by Kiriya. (To forge you will need 2 Writers Quill which can be bought at the Kolton General Store, and 2 Placidus Wood, which is dropped by the Lumpers in the Bihar Mines section of the Seraphic Gate)

After collecting these materials head back to Port Zala and talk to Rico again to finish the quest. You will now have new recipes available to Rico, including all of the skills books.

    Written Skills

The materials needed for writing the skills are 2 Genius Quills per book (see above for details on Genius Quills) and a respective "Memoirs" book. These books are found in chests( mostly behind rocks that you need Balbagan or Gustav to break) or can be forged by Savio or Rico and will require:

3 Halgitian Paper - Forged by Michelle or dropped by Lumpers in the Bihar Mines section of the Seraphic Gate.

    1 Genius Quill (see above)

Now I will list the skills and their respective materials:

"Dance of the Sword" Teaches Capell the Alfheim skill
    1 Memoirs of a Knight
    2 Genius Quills

"Path of a Hero" Teaches Capell the Levantine Slash skill
    1 Memoirs of a Warrior
    2 Genius Quills

"Live by the Sword" Teaches Edward the Tempest Clash skill
    1 Memoirs of a Warrior
    2 Genius Quills

"Memos of a Master Marksmen" Teaches Aya the Simorgh Zal skill
    1 Memoirs of a Hunter
    2 Genius Quills

"Legend of a Shadow" Teaches Komachi the Nightshade skill
    1 Memoirs of a Thief
    2 Genius Quills

"Palm of the Hand" Teaches Touma the Peerless Valor skill
    1 Memoirs of a Mercenary
    2 Genius Quills

After creating the books simply use them on their respective character to teach them that skill.

You get Touma in Halgita in Disc 2. He is the samurai with the cool mask. He's also an aristo.

LV 1 Blue SlimeYour guide is good, but something to add : it's possible this will not unlock when it should. All I had to do was go to the Cobasna Timberlands to make it unlock. Others say you need to *SPOILERS*

get Sigmund again (I already have him). Both solutions might be worth adding to the solution.

TimeTrakenYou don't need a player advantage on Dragontail vipers to get the dragon fangs. They're dropped normally about 10 percent of the time
