**DISCLAIMER - The game is not fully released and is subject to updates. So far these updates have made the game significantly more difficult and nullified some of my tips. Due to frequent game overhauls this guide may no longer be accurate. I will try my best to keep it updated in a timely manner. **

This isn't a guide per se, but rather a collection of tips and knowledge that I hope will help in getting this achievement. Suggestions are welcome.

    1. Only spend gold on getting new cars. You'll want a good number of 3 star cars (at least 4) and will need the cars for The Collector achievement.
    2. You will need to replay events to dominate them. Both for the cash and the gold. I dominated 41 of the 72 story events. I also played a limited time event that guaranteed a 3 star car and gave lots of cash. Be sure to play these if they pop up and you have good enough cars.
    3. Save your repair kits when possible. You'll need several 3 stars for the last few events, and they're fairly difficult to come by until the final episode. I finished with 72 3 star repair kits. Repairs are no longer star-specific.
    4. Do not spend cash on any cars but the ones you use. While you may upgrade them later to reach level 20 for The Collector achievement, I had issues with having enough money for most of the game to upgrade just the cars I used. doing the free card every 4 hours can give you $500 which is pretty significant.
    6. It's up to you if you want to increase the difficulty to get better rewards. All you get this way is more challenge cards, not more cash. Challenge cards are only good for upgrade kits (which you'll be swimming in at the end of the game) and a small chance at 5 or 10 gold. In my opinion they are worth it for the chance at gold (only spend on cars!), but I wouldn't go for them if you fall behind your opponent's PR. (They now exclusively give tuning kits (Dec 13, 2018))
    7. The final event is a min of 18 races and the final car has a PR of 635. This will require a 3 star car or better. Below is a table of the highest PRs in each event.
    8. My best car was a 3 star and had a PR of 639 at Rank 3/4 Level 26/30. My other cars were about 10 points lower than the competition but I managed to win by doing perfect races (perfect starts, breaks + gas). You can miss one or two break/gas and still win most of the time. You can mess up a lot if you're significantly (>25 point) higher than your opponent. If it's a close race you're best off using your boost after every corner (on the straightaways) rather than letting it build up.

The table below lists the shortest and easiest path.

    Part | Event 1 | Event 2 | Event 3 | Event 4 | Event 5 | Event 6
    E1 P1 | 410(2) | 405(3) | 415(3) | 401(3) | 405(3) | 409(4Su)

meyerparkXI got all the achievements now, i started it on January 14, 2022 also. I did it without a single penny on microtransactions as it was already turned off in final update. Took me 135 hrs. My highest lvl car was 614 and at least try to have all your other car classes at 585-595 and you should be able to beat the races that they're at 627 etc etc

BanyangodRan out of time at Episode 2 Part 4. then the game was shut down.
This app was so poorly supported. Often would go months w/o working. Might work one day and then the next not, until you uninstalled and re-installed.

If my daughter did not want to keep getting further ahead than I was I would have given up on this junk long long ago

To add to the other solution(s): Leveling PI Advice.

I found that after a while I'd rather just auto-race, especially when looking to level up the PI of my cars. To do this I needed to maximize my challenge packs, IRL time, and avoid spending wrenches, which meant that I needed to be able to auto-race every race in a given event.

Once I played through the first episode, I began doing the daily upgrade and special races as well. After getting a sports (yellow), street(green), and super (blue) car to 514 or so, you can start grinding easier. You'll need to be at least Level 15 to have 3 cars to race with.

Episode 1, Street Event 6, gives you 7 races if your follow the lower path. By auto-racing and choosing the +300 match ups, I was able to get 4 challenge cards a run in about 4-5min IRL. You can do this twice at level 15, based on the amount of energy you have at full, before having to wait or get partially through the event for a third time before having to stop and wait.

Doing this for about a week, I was able to level 12 cars to 514, and I picked my best ones to level higher. Why 12? Some of the special races and story races require a Modern Super, or a Classic Muscle, or a Retro Street, etc. 3 types of cars x 4 car "classes" = 12, if you want to be prepared. You'll need the three various types of cars to be leveled in each class to do the "class " specific races and get the upgrade parts you need, as you can only race for "class" upgrades using class cars (except for the wild event upgrades which are random).

Once I got a muscle, super, and sport, to 540-550 PI, you can start auto-racing and getting 5 challenge cards a run.

Episode 1, Muscle Event 4, gives you 9 races. By running auto-race at +300 that's 27000, enough for 5 challenge cards. As before, I went the lower path and it took maybe 4-5 minutes to do the entire event (if I was watching TV or doing something else). I could do it twice without issue before needing to wait for energy or only getting a portion of the way through the event for a third time. You will use a sport, muscle, and super (any type is fine), but if you want to auto-race them all the highest PI needed is 541.

There were a few set backs, in that I would end up getting a better quality car that was a much lower PI than the one I spent time on leveling but I like to think it was probably better in the long term to level up that silver or gold card over a generic one. As other guides have suggested, always level 3*** cars that you need, ignore 1 and 2 stars. if you end up getting a four star car, level that too, even if it is common.

Edit: Save your gold for cars. You'll want to get enough for 5 cards or 10 cards (price is the same rate).

urkman5000Anyone got a hint for getting Credits fast? Like the Grind thing for Kits on 2-1-2?
Got my A** up with tuning kits but always low on credits.
Trying to prepare for E3 already got some 4*'s up just need to Upgrade

TubbedSlim panatella and Sashamorning in the comments above mention Episode 1 Part 1 Event 2 as being the most efficient for farming tuning parts, this is false. It is the most efficient for farming challenge cards, however those challenge cards will only give you level 3 tuning kits every time. Each level 3 tuning kit is worth 400, so if you autorace you will receive 1200 tuning points for 7 energy. This is equates to 171 points per energy spent.
If you instead farm Episode 1 Part 4 Event 4 you will obtain less challenge cards however those cards can give you level 4 and 5 kits which are worth 1200 and 3000 respectively. I did 10 runs and it worked out to be an average of 174 points per energy spent, slightly better than 1,1,2.

1,4,4 does depend on rng so sometimes you will get lucky and get multiple level 4 or 5 kits, sometimes none. It does balance out and work out better in the long run though.

You should always farm upgrade events first before story anyway. You can get similar challenge card numbers and all the other rewards refresh every day unlike story.

I will continue to track my results and update accordingly.

    Herps McGirpsIn response to Urkman5000:

Doing the Special Event races every week and doing the upgrade races everyday gave me a ton of credits just from following the path and picking up credits from the nodes. Also if you can do the higher level upgrade races you get a lot of car chips. Each car spin can get you 750 or 1000 credits when you get the car and you can get upwards of 10 spins a day if you can clear the whole special event run and all the upgrade races. Not to mention all the challenge packs you will get and the credits they contain.

I didn't keep track of my credits earned in any real way, but one day that stands out in my mind I had managed to get 24000 credits from just spinning for cars and claiming challenge cards. As I remember being under 1000 then claimed all my goodies to end up just over 25k.

In the end of the game I had six 4-star cars, but basically you only need to invest in one red and one blue classic car - all the rest is not "really" needed.

Summary for faster completion in global meaning. There 4 classes and 3 types in each. As some points of game progression you will need all of them. Do not focus of building all of them, once its needed you will easily upgrade them as needed without much investment in time and upgrades. Pi needed for first half of game is not a big problem to build fast.

But at the very end you really will want red classic with 4 stars and blue classic with 4 stars will help a lot, but 3 stars blue classic should work too. Yellow classic and green classic is ok being 3 stars, so upgrade them to maximum 3 stars and forget them, even their green and yellow upgrades should be saved until you could use it for red and blue 4 stars classic. You should try to save red and blue upgrades until you have a classic red/blue with 4 stars. It could happen you reached maximum 3 star with classic red, but than not this car, but another red classic became 4 stars first and now you need to wait until your 3 stars car would be 4 stars (will it ever happen or not you can't know) or to upgrade that another red classic from very beginning, loosing more time, because 3 star Pi is 575 and it is not enough to beat Pi 635. So do not hurry upgrading any classic red car to maximum if it is 3 stars only.

My red classic reached Pi 623 and after that I needed 5 brake parts and 2 red brake parts. That's a lot of time and as final car is only Pi 635 it was easy to beat it with my Pi 623. Have some gold in reserve to buy repair kits and fuel to "bruteforce" two final events with single or two cars (my blue classic was Pi 618, it was ok to race it sometimes, if my red more powerful car could not beat AI, but blue could). I also had green 4 stars car at Pi 603, but eventually I decided it is not needed and it is more profitable to use green updates (and yellow too) to red car, as you will have enough gold to buy keys and beating any event with 2 or even 1 car.

Note: if you are reading this after April 11th 2022, then you are late to the party - the server should've been shut down by then.

During this episode, you will encounter (at the very end race of each chapter):

    Sport Classic at PI 552
    Street Classic at PI 577
    Super Classic at PI 607
    Muscle Classic at PI 635

These are all restricted races, which means you need to have the cars in those particular categories. For the first two chapters, three star classic cars will be good enough (PI cap for epic 3 star car will be 585 while rare 575). For chapter 3, you will want a 4-star car (or maybe a competitive 3-star with PI boosts). As of chapter 4, you will need a 4-star Classic Muscle to pass. Any common one can achieve that with enough upgraedes, so save the muscle car upgrade materials for that. I passed the final episode with a 4-star GTO Judge with PI 614, plus 2 PI boosts.

One more thing - for the final stage (stage 6) of chapter 4, you need to at least finish 11 races to complete the game, which means you need to use at least 6-8 wrenches. Based on the fact that your cars are most likely at PI 600+, you will need 8 wrenches.

If you're trying to get this before the game closes (in a month), I'd advise several things to do:
    1. Remember that to complete a chapter you have to 100% each Event in each Part of each Episode
    2. Upgrade cars that are 4+ stars, ignore 2/3 star cars!
    3. Only upgrade 1 of each car type per colour, the rest is a waste of items & money
    4. The most important cars to upgrade are Classic!
    5. Play the Car Shows as often as you can (the exhause symbol on the right of the tabs)
    6. Play the Spotlight races every day, as far as you can
    7. Grind Episode 1, Part 4, Event 4 (bottom row, red, blue & yellow cars) as much as you can to get extra Challenge cards, make sure to go as high on difficulty as you can
    8. Play the main races as soon as you can (with a bit of a power difference over your opponent)
    9. Use Auto-Race as often as you can (as long as you've already got the Would You Walk achievement), it saves time - you need 20+ power over your opponent
    10. Save your Gold Credits for paying for money - it's the hardest resource to get, cars come easy, cash doesn't
    11. Save your Upgrade Cards for Class Upgrades, unless you run out of Pro Upgrades, but DO NOT buy regular Upgrade Cards!!!
When they announced the shut down I hadn't even completed Episode 2, so grinding for just over a month got me through 2 & 3
