How to unlock the Belly of the beast achievement

    Note: Requires 'dive fish' (swimming underwater) and 'sootling on a leash' (swinging on flowers) abilities.

    From the starting beach (on the left of map), go right until you get to a small pool of water. Here is where you'll need to dive down. This was where you fed the poison mushroom or juicy toadstool to Fosfor blocking the path early on. Once inside, use the 'sootling on a leash' on the flowers to swing across and interact with Fosfor. Feed Fosfor again and the achievement will unlock.

    GerbasgamerYou don't have to feed him again for the achievement to unlock. Just talk to him.

    UltraAmbiguousFosfor asked me for another mushroom and I gave him the poisoned one. The achievement did not pop for me.

    mars7T2Achievement did not unlock for me either, when I fed Fosfor the poisoned mushroom in his lair.

    On a new playthrough I fed him the poisoned mushroom first, then later in his lair the achievement unlocked when I landed near the mailbox next to him. No interaction required!

    (It takes about 2 hours on a new game before you can access this area).

    That's a bit weird because I had the exact same but in my case the achievement popped as soon as I started the conversation with him..?

    bbsteviebTalking to him worked for me as well. You have to give him the poisoned mushroom to get to the chest though.
