In order to unlock the dig sites for Stegosaurus, you will need 5 expedition buildings which won't happen until after you have unlocked the last island. (NOTE: you can only have one expedition per island park)

Then you continue sending out expeditions until you have 50% of the genome. However, in order to unlock the last island, you will need to get 3 stars on Isla Pena which unlocks this last island and gives you this achievement:

You can earn this during Mission 4 of the 'Return to Jurassic Park' DLC.

At one point, you will be asked to gather fossils and incubate 4 different dinosaurs.

Send a research team to the dig site in Europe and it will bring back fossils of the Stegosaurus. Research the fossils like normal, and you will eventually hit that 50% genome sequence (should only take one trip)

Add the stegosaurus to the hatchery and wait a couple of minutes.

    Release it.

You now have your achievement in under 2-hours, in comparison to the 10-15 hours it would take in the normal campaign.
