After hours of try8ng I got this figured out. Use your frankin imps when the crab charges to stun him his claw must be raised the first time you stun him it will knock off his armor. Every time after that you must wait till his claw is in the air while charging then while he's stunned send in the rest of your imps to attack but be careful and recall them all once he becomes unstunned because he will do a spinning attack. Just keep repeating this till he dies. It helps to use your right trigger to lock on while he is charging so you can dodge and attack when needed.

For those who prefer a video guide, this shows beating the Crab boss:

The idea is load up on Frankenimps, then go into the pit where he is. Wait for him to charge, if his arm is up while charging, throw your imps at him & then when stunned attack. Before he comes to, recall your imps.

If his arm is *down* while charging, then move out of the way & wait for the next charge.

Then just rinse & repeat until done.
