    Bot-kills count as of now.

I would say "have fun", but nah, you won't have.

Best way to get kills is blocking a lobby with a friend and 2nd controller. Stay on Glory or Warmachine-Koth and camp the turret.

The SCHWARTZ 00This wasn't even that bad. Just played a ton of ranked KOTH and was getting like 35-50 kills every other match. I'll probably never even use the character lol. Christmas Sweater Mago FTW.

HerrKätzchenIt wouldn't leave such a sour taste if they would have released this closer to the 5k-kills-achievement.

This challenge is live from July 3rd to October 1st 10am PDT.

UPDATE: Any kills in multiplayer count now! Including CO-OP vs AI BOTS

When the challenge was first announced it was specified in The Coalition's weekly What's Up that the 6,000 kills would be obtainable in any multiplayer mode, including Co-op VS AI Bots.

When the challenge went live on Xbox it was unintentionally pushed through LIVE with an older description. This required the 6,000 kills be obtained in RANKED modes specifically.

The Coalition has listened to the feedback about the issue of announcing one thing and pushing out something entirely different (and much more time consuming).

In What's Up July 12th (https://gearsofwar.com/en-us/community/whatsup-july12-2018), they have announced that they found a fix and will be updating the description to allow all multiplayer kills.

    Ruby Scion Challenge Update
In last week’s What’s Up, we confirmed that the Ruby Scion challenge unintentionally launched with an older variant of the challenge that required all 6000 kills to be in Ranked Matches.
We are happy to confirm, that after investigating further, we have determined that we are able to fix the mistake with the challenge configuration after all. Therefore the challenge will change to its original intended functionality – 6000 kills across Social, Co-Op vs Bots and Ranked – and we expect this change to be deployed in the near future.
Once this update goes live, kills in Social and Co-Op vs Bots will ALSO contribute to the total along with Ranked kills. Any Social or Co-Op vs Bots kills logged before the update to the achievement goes live will NOT retroactively be added (it’s a technical limitation unfortunately). All Ranked Kill progress made towards the achievement will be retained.
Keep an eye on Twitter and on the Forums for the first news on when the change is live. You’ll know the change is live by a change in the achievement title to ‘Season 4 Ruby Challenge’.
So feel free to continue getting kills in RANKED modes if you want to continue progress. Otherwise, soon you will be able to obtain kill progress in any mode. Thankfully The Coalition realized their mistake and everyone can attain this challenge in it's timeframe.

Any other questions feel free to leave a comment below or shoot me a PM. Thanks guys!

TH00PERMANSo if I started this Challenge right now, 6000 kills in 60 days = 100 kills/day... NO THANKS.

Slayer ReigningYeah it's a grind. If you really want to go for it I'd say play against AI on casual and vote for KOTH. You can get kills pretty quickly, especially on smaller maps.

Ron Jeremy R6Too bad there always seems to be a non-re-up guy who captures the rings in KOTH.
