I think there's an easier method.
2 controllers. Turn off the play clock. I maxed out Winnipeg so everyone was 99. I played against Montreal, but I don't think that matters.
Second controller - Passing - W Cali (page 11). This sends the backfield out, so it's just the line and the QB.
Main controller - 3-4 Base - Grizzly (page 2). This pulls the D back a bit, giving your player some room to move without another player getting in the way.
I brought number 92 (linebacker) from the left side to the right. Hike the ball with your 2nd controller, then run in with 92 (the RB will have run past you). Position yourself directly behind the standing QB (he has as long as you want) and DIVE TACKLE at the QB with
. You don't need to sprint, just avoid the O-line.
