How to unlock the Auto Barn achievement

    As you play through the game and earn Influence you will eventually be told of a Barn Find rumour, which adds a purple circle to your map.

    Head to that point on the map and locate the barn (an abandoned shed which is shaped like half a cylinder on its side) to find the car.

    After a certain amount of time (you may want to do a few races) you will be told that "your Barn Find is ready". Return to the Festival Hub or any homespace, navigate through the menus and collect your Barn Find once you locate it.


    A tip for finding Barns:

    While you're in the purple circle pause the game and select Drone Mode. Then, fly your drone within the designated area until you find the barn. Once you have, the circle will disappear and be replaced with the precise location of the barn, after which you can return to your car and drive to the location.


    Note:

    If you purchase the Treasure Map you will immediately be shown the barn location instead of the purple circle when a new rumour comes up.

    HamsterLVI have played for 15 hours already, got the achievement for driving on every road, but no barn rumor. Not even one. Any ideas?

    You must complete "The Behemoth Showcase" in north part of the map before these become available or you can end up like me playing 15 h and not get your first barn find rumor.
    After you complete "The Behemoth Showcase" (not straight away, after a few minutes in freeroam) you will be contacted via radio and informed about areal scans of barns and get and approximate location of the barn and you in game map will get a purple circle. If you do not get the call after completing The Behemoth Showcase, do Cross Country, Off-Road or Street races you have not done yet, or any other new activities.
    Find the barn inside the circle by driving your car or flying drone and then approach it to trigger cutscene.
    After that, barn find car will be automatically taken where mechanic will work on it and he will restore the car completely free if you wait (do races or freeroam) or you can pay him to get it instantly restored. The price varies depending of the value of the car and how much work on the car is left to do. You can check progress by visiting GARAGE, in BARN FINDS tab, by clicking on the car in question.
    Achievement unlocks after the car is restored.
    VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT USE THE OPTION TO PAY TO INSTANTLY COMPLETE RESTORATION, IT MIGHT GLITCH THIS AND/OR ANTIQUE RESTORER ACHIEVEMENT!

    HamsterLVI had completed prologue and this showcase event was the one keeping me from receiving Barn Find Rumors.

    ThronedFiddle75I got it just after I qualified for and entered Spring. I did one race and then got told about the barn finds.

    Vex TwilleyI completed The Behemoth a long time ago and still have not gotten any barn find rumors at all. Don't think this is what triggers it.
