How to unlock the Human After All achievement

Upon starting any event on the map, you can choose between completing it solo, co-op or PvP among other options. Selecting the latter will pit you against other players for the duration of that particular event.

Since PvP isn't very popular and not many players accept those invites, you can have a friend join your Convoy. After selecting PvP, you can invite them to the event. After completing (not necessarily winning that is) five events, the achievement will unlock.

The fastest way to do this is in the Festival Drag Strip, which is a 1/4-mile drag strip very near the Horizon Festival outpost. It's unlocked after completing the introduction part of the game and naturally all drag races there are very short.

JNaDaThis doesn't seem to work for Seasonal Event PvP. So for those of us trying on Seasonal Events and wondering why it isn't popping, just go to the Festival Drag Strip standard event and do PvP there. Someone is likely to join. If they don't, try again.

I found out that you need qualify for the Horizon roster before you can unlock this achievement.

Once unlocked, I completed the showcase event and was able to play online.

Go to the Horizon Festival Drag Strip, located on the map. Press start, on the home tab click on Play Online - connect to Horizon Life. Once your in, invite your friend/s into the lobby. Press X to setup the event and scroll across to PVP.

Do this 5 times for the achievement.

If anything is slightly wrong with this guide, rather than voting down, leave a comment below as to how I can improve this guide. Thanks.

The fastest way to do this is to use the Drag Strip, but the Drag Strip is locked when you first start the game. So if you haven't unlocked it yet, go play some more and come back when you open it. Go ahead. I'll wait right here for you.

Okay, now that you have that Drag Strip unlocked go start a race session, and select 'PVP'. Don't select the event the game creates for you. This one will be restrictive based on the car you have, you don't want to leave out potential opponents. Slide over and select 'Custom Blueprint'. You want to choose 'Anything Goes', then on the next screen select 'Showdown'. Finally select 'Create Blueprint' and you are ready to race.

Race 5 times and the achievement will pop. After you create the race, there is no reason to recreate it over and over again, you can go to 'Custom Events' the next time you race and you will see it already created for you.

I finished this and the 5 PVP races achievement in about 30 minutes on June 30, 2020 (years after release) so it's still possible to get it without a lot of trouble. (Don't forget to race once in an X class car and once in D class car to get Tortoise and the Hare along the way)
