Tortoise and the Hare step by step video guide!

You don't need to win the race, just complete two races, once each in the appropriate car, and despite the name of the achievement it shouldn't even mater what car your opponents are using.

Note: Again, You don't need to win, just complete the two races in PVP' as a 'Showdown' Races (Once in an X class car, and once in a D class car).

For those posting negative scores can you please let me know how the guide can be improved, as I can use that information to hopefully make better guides in the future.

Before posting a negative score because it didn't unlock for you can you please check the achievement is not stuck unlocking, and if that is not the issue retry the event. When doing the second attempt double check you have set it up as 'PVP' and set it as a 'Showdown' Race as these are specific requirements to unlock this.

QuimeraBRIn the first race, you need do it with a class 'x' car and your opponnent with a 'd' car. In second time, the oposite, you with a 'd' car and your opponnent with a 'x' car. Simple.

    psportalI can confirm the following:
    1) You need to COMPLETE, not WIN, at most two races.
    2) You should drive a D class and an X class once in those two races.
    3) Those two races don't need to be back-to-back or with the same opponent twice.
    4) It doesn't matter what your opponent drives.
    5) YOU NEED TO MAKE A SHOWDOWN BLUEPRINT FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT TO COUNT.

If you can't organize a group to complete this achievement just go to the horizon dragstrip during a busy time of day and start up a PvP showdown race. Sometimes it can take a while, but usually in a minute or two someone will join. Even if it takes a while you only need to do it twice.

Pay it forward and check the map whenever you see that someone is hosting an event. Give them a hand if its a PvP Showdown, it will only take a minute!

This must be a PVP Showdown, not just any PVP race. Select PVP from the race types and then when it asks for car class, pick "Showdown". This is what you need to get the achievement to unlock.
