How to unlock the Are You Not Entertained? achievement

After you have defeated a couple of mercenaries a quest will unlock that tasks you with finding the arena. There is a note that comes with the quest to help you find it. The quest is called They Just Want Cruelty, recommended level 25.

The Arena is in Pephka, at Pirate Point. It’s the furthest island to the South East corner of the map.

For this achievement you must battle your way through a number of waves of fighters.

There are five bosses you must defeat to become Champion:

Klaudios, King of the Bandits – Level 22
Belos, the Beast of Sparta – 29
    Evanthe, the Huntress – 36
Titos, the Rock of Athens – 43
Vasilis, the King of the Arena – 50

    TIPS:
    - I would suggest being at least level 49-50 before trying to take on the last two bosses.
    - Beware of traps scattered across the area which can be used to damage you enemies - Spartan Kick can result in a nice trap combo.
    - Be sure to use your abilities - Shield-Breaker and Second Wind are vital for the final two bosses.
    - It is best to have gear that prefers Warrior and Ranged combat styles.

Difficultly doesn't matter, so playing on easy won't void the achievement.

wolfzero01I don't know if I encountered a glitch or the usual bs that occurs sometimes regarding achievements, but the achievement didn't unlock after beating Skoura. I reloaded a save just before fighting him, beat him again and still no achievement. Finally after reloading a save before fighting Vasilis and beating him it unlocked

Do you have to beat Skoura? Because the achievement unlocked for me before I fought him. Beating Vasilis was enough maybe?

Apostle92627It also unlocked for me immediately after I fought Vasilis so I don't think Skoura counts toward the achievement.

Also, I just used Flaming Attacks with Fire Mastery combined with spamming overpower attacks on the bosses. They never stood a chance because the boss fights lasted 5-10 seconds.

Gus LivinlautIt popped for me hours later when I was running around doing other quests.

So it might just take some time? (I defeated the 5 main arena bosses, then the first of the second group, and the arena king again)

Apache117XI had that with two other achievements. I think some are a little buggy.

It appears to be just the five bosses, solution updated.

GnemlockI beat the arena and the achievement didn't pop.. went to check my achievements and found out that while I was playing my save.. I wasn't actually signed in. Any chance this still counts? On another note, at level 47 the bosses are still very easy on easy difficulty. Just make sure you have level 3 overpower and poison and soam the iveroowers on the bosses. Every one fell with at most 2 overpowers with good daggers.
