We're off to the Island of Lesbos in the north east corner of the map. On the southwest part of the island is a quest called Romancing the Stone Garden.
You'll end up in front of the temple and be sent to retrieve some items a spear and a key. The spear is on a mercenary and the key is on the island of Chios in the Huntress Village. If you've finished the Daughters of Artemis questline you can walk right in and grab the key. Once you have the key and spear return to the temple in the Petrified Forrest.

I recomend having your torch out as you wander through the temple before the fight to help spot snakes before they attack you.
Once you get to fight Medusa she switches between shooting a laser at you and exploding the ground you're standing on. The laser is easy to avoid just keep one of the pillars in the arena between you and her while shooting around it. When she teleports after taking damage be prepared to dodge her AoE ground attack. That is really all there is to this fight but it is a long one. Don't get impatient, keep yourself healed and if you need more arrows there are a few racks around the arena.

YaIrishMick96Dear god that is one of the most tedious boss fights ever. It's easy but because of the ridiculous health Medusa has it takes ages to kill her.

Ultamisiawhat a long and boring as fuck of a fight, thanks for the strategies!

IdanSTTook her out in 3 minutes. The key is the build. I have lvl 60 of Pirate set + swords Xiphos + Dionysos + bow BigHorn (150 Helix points). With abilities spent on tree + Mastery levels + engraving, I have damages hunter 14K, warrior 15K and assassin 159K. Plus crit chance on full health 60% and crit damage on full health 484%. Just spammed hero ability and overpower, had to do 7 hits on her. She wasn't the problem for me, only her soldiers each time, yet took her out in 3 minutes

More than likely, this is the last of the four Atlantis bosses that you are fighting and the Atlantis quest line happens to be the one that will finally lead to the end of the "real world storyline". The other guides are wonderful for strategy, but are missing the preparation part of things. So it's my job to make sure you are ready. Definitely Quicksave before you go inside, and make sure you have all the engravings and upgraded equipment that you need. You can always redo your skills inside if needed, though if you are reading this after the level 70 update you may have all the points you'll ever need. If you max out your Overpower Bow Strike, you get 1500% damage. Even at 8,000 damage that adds up to 120,000 for just one hit. Just make sure that you hit her. Definitely make sure your Battle Cry of Aries is activated as often as possible. I also suggest getting your Arrow Mastery up to three so that you can make Explosive arrows and complete the Artemis quests so that you have that armor set and the ability to craft Death arrows if you don't wish to close in on the soldiers. That set gives you bonuses to Hunter Damage, but the Demigod set is pretty good too if you have finished the story (and defeated all of the Cultists) by this time. You should engrave the following Legendary things: 15% Hunter Damage onto the circlet, 2% Damage as Health on the chestplate, and 50% Burning Rate on the boots. If you have completed all five of the Ostraka that combine to get a 20% to Overpower Attacks (for 48,000 more damage), put that on the other two pieces. Non-legendary engravings stack, and even if you don't have all five a lower percentage will still help some. Your weapons need engravings too. Since they are applied to your character, not your weapon, it does not matter which weapon gets what. I suggest a bow with bonuses to Hunter Damage and Fire Damage at the least, other bonuses are up to you. I like the Sword of Damocles from the end of the game, bonuses to Warrior Damage and Adrenaline are helpful. I happen to have the Trident of Poseidon in my other slot, but you can use whatever there. The three engravings I suggest are +25% to Elites and Bosses, 15% Fire Damage and Buildup and -1 Adrenaline Cost for Overpower Abilities. This last one makes it easier to keep one adrenaline bar filled for healing purposes, while letting you charge your overpower quickly. Of course Second Wind should also be level 3.

HolyHalfDeadLot’s of good tips, but I just changed the difficulty to easy, walked in at level 50 during Episode 5, and hit her with my sword a few times. Her ground attack and stone ray hardly do any damage on Easy if you are level 50.

But come back later on Hard Mode to earn the Abomination legendary armor set!

HolyHalfDeadI will add that both your equipped weapons should be the same type for the bonuses to stack. If you have two swords, both with +21% Sword damage, and a helmet with +21% Sword damage and +15% Swords and Daggers damage, then that is +78% damage - much better than a +18% Warrior damage bonus.

This is a seriously tough battle. Bring your patience and a ton of arrow supplies because you will need them. Don’t bother trying to take her on with weapons, rely on your bow. Keep moving, duck behind the pillars when she tries to turn you to stone. Never shoot more then three arrows at a time, don’t bother with anything besides the fire and explosive arrows.
Three times during the battle she will animate soldiers, do not engage them, keep on the move and hit them with arrows. Use your adrenaline sparingly, saving it to keep yourself healed. In short, BE PATIENT stay on the move, only use your bow, and heal often. Good luck!

Lola DragonflyGood point Paul8807, I wasn’t clear about the soldiers, definitely use the first two waves of soldiers to replenish adrenaline, my suggestion (for the most part) is to avoid engaging in a melee battle with the last wave. 👍🏻

HolyHalfDeadOr just change the difficulty to Easy and hit her with your sword a few times. You still get the achievement.

Ostrowidzki1989I found this fight pretty easy at level 45 even. It dragged on, but it wasn't difficult at all. I just spammed sword attacks and use adrenaline right away.
