In Nika's room there is a Nikola Tesla poster. Remove the poster to reveal a pneumatic tube. The poster you removed will will go into your rucksack (inventory) and show all things you need to create Nika's invention. Once you have gather all required items come back to Nika's room and press the button on the tube, this will reveal the door to her lair.
