How to unlock the Where have you been? achievement

    Actions
    1. Create a new world on Coastal Village (stray cats everywhere right where you spawn), selecting peaceful difficulty and making sure the bonus chest is turned on
    2. Check the bonus chest for fish - if you get two fish, keep going. If not, recreate Coastal Village until you do
    3. Run into the field outside the village and kill sheep until you have 3 wool
    4. Break a tree for wood, make planks
    5. Go back to the village and make a crafting station, then a bed
    6. Save the game
    7. Hold a fish and crouch until a stray cat approaches you, try taming it with your fish - if you run out of fish reload your save and try again. If the cat is tamed (hearts appear) keep going
    8. Wait until nighttime and save your game again
    9. Place your bed out in the open - do not build a house to put it in
    10. Poke your cat to make sure it isn't sitting down then get in bed - make sure your cat jumps up onto the bed with you. Let the game progress time forward to morning
    11. Wait about two minutes

    I did not see my cat bring me anything, no items added to my inventory or set up next to my bed, but the achievement unlocked for me after waiting a bit. The differentiators for me were not putting my bed in a house, and waiting for the achievement even after I did not see the cat bring me anything. It's a bit volatile - if you have waited for a good while reload your save and try again.

    R u raging lolThis achievement is pretty glitchy even though my cat gave me a rabbits foot the achievement still didn’t unlock for me

    In this world, go to the update 1.8.0 area, and spawn one or a few cats. Tame them, then change the day to night and go to sleep. Upon waking up, check around you to see if there are any things on the floor which the cats might have given. Due to everyone needing to be asleep, it is better to do this in a world by yourself instead of in the realm.
