How to unlock the Secret Soup achievement

On the Cat Soup level, once you get inside the restaurant you need to make the secret soup for the blue bird to drink.

The recipe in the Trashopedia for secret soup is:
"2 shakes salt, 3 shakes pepper."

Start by swallowing the three empty tin cans that are on the restaurant floor to get them out of the way. When you pull the cord on the right of the screen, water will be poured into the cooking pot which will be transferred to your hole when you move over to the stove. Once you have the hot water, a cupboard will open and a some salt and pepper shakers will be on rotation. Each ingredient will be added when you move your hole over to it, so wait for the salt (white) to be at the front of the cupboard and collect a shake.

The first shake will cause a cockroach to appear. You must avoid these as they will spoil your soup and force you to start from scratch. To avoid the cockroach, simply make small circular movements near the stove and you shouldn't have any trouble. The second shake of salt will cause a second cockroach to appear which can easily be dealt with in the same way, just make sure you stick to the left of the screen near the stove. Now you need to get 3 shakes of pepper (black) and an extra cockroach will appear after each shake. Do the exact same thing as you did for the salt until your soup turns orange and then move over to the blue bird on the right of the screen. The bird will become tearful due to how tasty the soup is and the achievement will unlock.

It's worth noting to always stick the the left of the screen, as the blue bird will drink whatever is in your hole and either force you to start over, or progress you to the next part of the level.

Do not worry if you missed this during your initial playthrough as level select is available once you complete the game.

I had this with only 3 roaches running around. I started with pepper, 2 came up and then salt. Soup turned red and gave it to the bird. Achievement was unlocked

Thankfully managed to get this first try, the roaches are easy enough to dupe but god are they annoying and heart stopping. Thanks for the guide!
