This will probably be one of the first few achievements you unlock in the game. 10 deaths really will not take any measure of time. You can just go for it by dying in the tutorial level a bunch, but just by playing the game you will easily die 100's and 1000's of times.
As noted in my other guides for deaths, remember to finish a level before quitting the game. The achievement seems to not track or resets your stats to your last completed level if you quit the game while in the level.
