  This achievement is for completing the synthesis section of the gummi phone. Now, don't get confused with the collection! Yes, you do need to do a lot of the collection, but not all of it. Though, it is helpful cause you can buy the materials (except crystals) which will require collecting 30 of each shard, 25 of each stone and 20 of each gem. Don't worry, I'll list locations for those later.
  
  
  Now then, bare with me, I don't do video guides so this will be a very, VERY long guide, but you can skim through for what you're looking for if you like.
  This achievement requires you to synthesize/create all 88 items, which will require various tasks (like moogle photos and some collections) to unlock these items to be available to create.

  Now, if you want the list on to where the best places to get these items, I'll list them here, but before that, a helpful recommendation: use the save/reload function with moogle post cards to get some Lucky Rings (which you'll have to do to get an Oricalcum+ that you will need anyways) and also to equip the Favorite Deputy keyblade for lucky strike. This will be a huge help when farming materials. You don't need to use it as your main, you can use ultima and still get the effects from the other two keyblades equipped.

  I also didn't see Oricalcum+ anywhere else in the guide. Is it needed for this achievement or no? What is it needed for? How do Lucky Rings get us Oricalcum+?
  
  I think you make a few assumptions about how much of this people actually know before going for this achievement instead of giving people the background they need to understand it.

  i just had the achievement not unlock on NG+ for me so i did it a 2nd time on the original save file and it popped. would recommend having EZ codes off at the moment of the last craft.

  There are location based spoiler's in this solution.
  
  I would also like everyone to take note that the achievements in this game can glitch on you and not pop if there's a Xbox service alert and said alert is effecting achievements unlocking. To remedy this if there is an alert just make a backup save in an empty space and if the achievement you're going for doesn't unlock wait for the alert to be over and load the backup save and try again.
  
  
  A quick non spoiler solution is this.
  
  The requirements to unlock are to make one of each recipe all 88, you will need to do all 20 photo missions to unlock 20 of the recipes and you will need to unlock the Ultima Blade recipe from the collection category.   Now for the real meat of the solution.
  
  After doing a lot of in-game data digging I've comprised two lists of info one is the total amount of materials (I will be shorting this it just Mats) for the achievement and the other is what items I got out of running the Battlegates (I will be shorting to BG later) 15x each.
  (I didn't run all of the Battlegates 15x I will get to that later too)
  
  I recommend you get these weapons done first before you grid out all the other Mats needed for the other recipes as they need Mats that are very limited in quantity.

  I didn't run BG # 5, 13, or 14. x15 as they are in my opinion not very effective or do not give any Mats for finishing them more then once.
  
  

  
  
  Now you may be wondering where to get these Mats types below. Don't worry I got your back.
  Sinister (all types)
  Blazing Gem
  Frost (all types)
  Mythril (all types)
  Fluorite
  Damascus
  Adamantite
  Orichalcum
  Electrum
  
  So the fastest way to get Sinister Mats (in my opinion) is to travel to the Monster's Inc. world and load into the Lobby & Offices save point. Once you load in go back to the Monster's Inc. front desk room and take out the enemies here.
  

  

  
  
  After you take care of them go back to the save point refill your MP if needed and make you're way to the main hallway before the scare floor go to your left to this end of the hallway and take out these guys.
  

  

  
  
  Return to the save point and make a trip to see Little Chef. This will load you out and reset the enemies. (I've personally dubbed this Little Chef Reset)
  

  

  
  
  Now for Blazing Gems it's the same thing just go to the Upper level, Door Vault save point. When you load in go though the door on your right,
  

  

  
  take of the bad guys here and return though the door and do a Little Chef Reset.
  
  For Frost travel to Arendelle and go to the Mountain Ridge save point. From here take the cave just in front of you.
  

  

  
  
  Then go all the way down the path to this open area and take out the enemies.
  

  

  
  
  Run up this mountain and jump and glide off the top for a quick way back to the cave you came though to reset the enemies.
  

  

  
  
  The other Mats can be farmed in the Gummi ship in all the different galaxy's from asteroids & blue crystals.
  Mythril (all types)
  Fluorite
  Damascus
  Adamantite
  Orichalcum
  Electrum
  
  Hopefully using this info can help to unlock a very grindy achievement. As always if there is something incorrect post in the comments and I'll edited what's needed.

  Here some additional tips to get certain item that I found worked much better:
  
  Sinister shards: Go to monstropolis at the door vault service area save point. Put on any equipment with Lucky strike, and then head backwards towards the power plant. In the first open area are you encountered there will be the flood unversed. Those are the guys that drop sinister shards. Take them out, head back to the service area, rinse, and repeat.
  
  Blazing Gems: Start in the first save point in lobby then progress through the level riding the first rail killing enemies, clearing out enemies after the first rail in the landing, ride the next rail again killing the enemies. After that rail just run through to the next save point. Travel back to lobby and go again.

  Honestly, what the hell do we need achievements like this for nowadays?
  
  My question is, can we worry about this at the end of the game or is there something that is missable on this huge list that i should follow a guide for while i play?

  SquaresAre2Triangles on Reddit created the following google sheets checklist that I thought was a fantastic way to track progress. It allows you to check off items as you create them and updates a second tab that shows exactly how many of each material you still need to find based on what you've already created.

  Regardless of whether you made the doc or not, this is absolutely essential to have if you want to avoid headaches, so a +1 from me.
  
  Just as an additional note, for those unfamilair with changing cells within Google Docs, you'll need to make a copy of the original document while logged in to a Google+ account. Then from the copy, delete the rows as appropriate on the crafting tab.

  Hey, just a heads up! If you were like me I did not know how to check off each item in the synthesis list. you have to add an 'x' in the A column and it will remove the materials from the tally on the second page.
