As far as I'm concerned, this is the hardest of the hit xxx... in xxx achievements. Unlike the Wagon Wheel (St. Louis) and the Basketball Rim (Chicago), the water tower is in foul territory - along the right hand side of the street on the rooftops. Playing an exhibition game against a second controller and having them lob the ball to you helps, but it still requires good timing and a great deal of luck. As best I can tell, you CANNOT hit the tower on the bounce, as I have done this many times off the tower and the support and have yet to unlock the achievement. It seems to be easier to do with lefties as you can pull the ball up there easier than swinging late and driving it. I would suggest playing 3 inning exhibitions rather than 6 or 9 as it breaks the grind of it and you'll gain more points - working toward collecting the cards - because you get 25 points by winning a game. So, playing 3 3 inning games vs 1 9 inning game will get you 50 more points - 1 pack of cards. If you have any suggestions to make the solution better, or you vote negatively, please contact me and let me know how I can improve the guide. Best of luck.

EDIT: I just unlocked this achievement. I lobbed the pitch using control pitchers with power just at the bottom edge of the green. When you start the pitch count "1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi" and swing with A. I unlocked it with a Right Handed batter (Dustin Pedroia), but I was usually closer with the left-handed batters. I hope this helps you all.
