This achievement can be done in assist mode. That does not void the achievement.

I quit after 10 minutes back to hub. Went back to try again and it started me on my furthest checkpoint with 0 time. So mine finished at 2 minutes lol. Thanks game

Can confirm what Zephyrustest said above. If you get to the final checkpoint (shown here: https://youtu.be/T6lYtO7agNk?t=6706) an pause and go back to the hub. When you go back into the level it'll set your time back to 0:00

This works on any level but of course this is the only time based achievement. It's not that hard anyway with assists on, i done it in less than half the time

You can even skip check points assist and get this one. Not every single one but if there is some you struggle with you can just press X near the checkpoint after the restriction is lifted, I think it's time based, like you have to try for a minute or so. So I got this on my first attempt.
