Anyone struggling for this or kills in general - use the machine pistol and annihilator combo. 1/2 hits with the explosives and one clip of your pistol should kill them depending on distance. Easy way to get kills close to your enemy and immediately grab the badge.
*a combination of the machine pistol and melee (B) works wonders too for close range killing.
