The best thing to do is simply do the Rally and RallyCross career races under My Team > Events to get yourself started, once you've started earning credits you can then afford to buy some cars under My Team > Garage > Purchase Vehicles. You can buy new cars or used cars, the used cars may have damage on them which cost to repair but that doesn't matter for what I'm about to tell you next.

I have recently found a method by chance to earn easy credits without having to really doing anything. On this game you can also do Daily/Weekly/Monthly challenges to earn credits, but you don't have to actually take part in them, you can simply load up the events, start the stage, wait for the 5 second countdown to finish or for the lights to turn green and immediately retire from the event. As you can see on the game there are timers underneath each challenge with how much time is left until the event ends, so you will not receive any rewards until the challenge time is up. If you do a Daily Challenge then retire from the event for example, once you have done that go back to My Team > Events and scroll back over to the challenge you just retired from and it will now say completed, when you are on the highlighted event click RTcn_RT to show the rewards and it will show you've been placed in a tier, you will probably be placed in Tier 4 for a Daily Challenge but once then event ends you will be rewarded credits and you didn't even need to complete the stage.

Here is a video on Youtube I made as an example of what to do:

Obviously if you take part and do a better time you will be placed higher up and receive more credits but that is your choice.

Please be aware with Monthly challenges though as these are set in Rallies, if you retire just from the first Rally you will still be placed in a Tier, but you will be in a Lower Tier, I found that if you retire from every Rally in the event you will be placed in an even Higher Tier and earn more credits for doing so, so you will need to retire from each rally not just the first one.

There are other things to be aware of, first one being is that this DOES NOT work on AI challenges as far as I know. Also, you will need a specific Class/Vehicle to enter Daily/Weekly/Monthly challenges so make sure you buy cars relating to those events if you want to take part. Plus, DO NOT retire from the event before the lights turn green or before the 5 second countdown has finished, otherwise you will get a DNF and won't get any credits, this is important because you cannot re-enter the events once completed. Lastly, the events do change once they have ended so take note of that as well.

Obviously if you rather do this properly then try and complete the events rather than just retiring. With the Rally and RallyCross career events you will need to do complete these to earn credits, Rally earns you more credits than RallyCross but will take longer to complete and these events depend on your finishing position for the Rallies/Rounds and for The Championship. If you click RTcn_RT on the highlighted event it will show how many credits you can earn. If you win the Championships then it will reset and you will be placed in a higher difficulty setting for those events and I believe then you will be rewarded more credits for completing them, depending on your finishing position as previously stated.

Now in my opinion earning credits on this game is ridiculous considering the amount you have to pay for damages to your vehicles as well, there are also other tips to save your credits as earning credits will also help you get a lot of the other achievements for buying certain cars etc, but I won't get into any of that as they are different achievements not related to this one.

Really hope this helps anyone lookingsmile

haugse23Is this achievements buggy but in a positive way? I've never played this game before today. I started it just now, loaded in and it gave me credits for completing a monthly and weekly event even though I literally just loaded the game for the first time and created my profile. Maybe it has something to do with having played either Dirt Rally or Dirt 4?
