    Level 20 came by time I made it past Heidel and towards the Eastern Gateway.

    If you do the main quests and go up towards Cron Castle for a while, which is like level 12-15, you should get some decent EXP as the goblins are pretty easy to kill.

    Around level 18, I moved south of Heidel to the Moreni Plantation and killed the Scarecrow creatures for a bit.

    Then with a friend, we took on enemies around the Castle Ruins until I was past level 20.

    Playing the game, make sure to use your Combat XP boosts when you think you'll be spending a fair amount of time killing.

    Questing and other activites also contribute to XP gain too, including fishing, gathering, & processing. So these could be mixed in for a sprinkle of additional EXP

    But isn't this specifically combat level 20? or would those other activities contribute anyway?

    MrNoLuckFoxThese other activities do give bits. If you collect water, or gather plants, take note of your Combat level percentage and you'll see that it goes up a bit with each task completion.
