You can find Fanorona at the Manor in the Homestead during Sequence 5.

It used to be that we could use a java applet to win but Java is so out of date modern browsers dropped the plugin. However, I found an Android app that basically does the same thing. It's called Fanorona Free.

Here's how to set up:
First, download Fanorona Free ( If anyone knows of an iOS app that works, feel free to let me know in the comments section.

Then, go to your phone's settings and make sure auto rotate is turned off. Now, open the game, then tap the top far-left circle. Select App and enter the following settings:

Do you want to play first?: Yes
Require continued captures?: No (it's entirely possible to end your turn before you've made every possible move by pressing cn_B.
Skill level: Very Hard

NOTE: If you tap the second circle from the right, you can set it for colorblind mode. Also, the moves have arrows so you can tell which direction you need to move in the game.

This is very important: Hold your device upside down. You are now on top and the computer is the bottom.

Now, you're ready.

On the Xbox One, you want to let Achilles go first. Now whenever he makes a move, make the same move on your device. When the computer makes a move on your device, make the same move on the Xbox One.

Note: Everyone struggling with Fanorona Free needs to read the next paragraph carefully:

While I tested this and it worked, the AI tended to go stupid when I had one or two left (literally kept moving one piece up and down). What I did was put my phone down and advance, taking his moves away one by one. I had seven left. He had one. I advanced three pieces, and noticed he liked moving into two spots. So I would move mine more than two spots away from one of them (or off to the side), preventing him from taking them. If he moved there, he lost. I kept doing this, making sure he couldn't get my pieces, until I finally backed him into the wall and forced him into the corner, where I won.
Nine Men's Morris:

Nine Men's Morris can be played at the inn on the homestead. While I was unable to find an app smart enough to beat my opponent, I did find this video that has a good strategy:

Edit: KTILLA23 used this site to win:

It's very similar to Tic Toe Toe, except when you get three lined up properly (create a mill), you get to take a stone from your opponent. The trick is to get two partial mills (two stones) set up connected to each other (like Tic Tac Toe). That way when your opponent goes to block you, you can finish your other mill and take a stone. If you do it right, you can then move one of the three stones back and forth (breaking and unbreaking your mill), taking his stones until he has three left.

When you have more than three stones, you can only move in a straight vertical or horizontal line. The fun (hard part) begins when your opponent has three left because he can then move anywhere on the board as long as the space is free. That means when you break a mill (move a stone), he can take one of his stones and block you from setting it back up again.

It's time to change your strategy. Now you want to have two or three potential mills set set up. Do that, and the potential for your opponent to move a stone already blocking a mill increases. Do that and he may block it with a stone already blocking a mill. Move the stone to create the mill and you win. If your opponent only has two stones, he is unable to form a mill.

Bowls can be played next to the inn at the Homestead after the related Homestead mission. It is similar to Bocce Ball (closer to British Bowls). It's the easiest of the three minigames to win. In my experience, some of his throws are accurate, some aren't.

The object of the game is to throw the bowl and then your next throw should be as close to it as possible. You win by scoring 5 points. If your ball is closest to the bowl at the end of the round (all the balls are thrown), you get 1 point. If you have two or three closest to it, you pick up those points as well. Don't worry about winning in the first couple rounds in the first round. Your throws would need to be perfect anyway. You can win with just getting 1 point per round anyway.

Anyway, it's not hard to win. My strategy was to knock his away from the bowl while trying to get mine to stop as close to it as possible. For example, if he had two close by, I tried to wedge mine between his, knocking his away and getting mine to stop in its tracks. Sometimes it work, sometimes I hit the bowl too hard.
