    When the shops or Inn are open, go upstairs and go through one of the cupboards etc.
    don't let anyone see you and make sure you weren't followed.

    BBALL UKI got mine in the Furniture Store. There is no one around because she stands outside the shop then you go up stairs and check cupboards there about 30 up there so one of them will have something you can steal.

    Another way to get this achievement is to steal with one person present (I was being followed by a villager who wanted to marry me, so that worked really well). I went into a stranger's house and found a chest upstairs. If you hold the A button while it says "Steal," an eye will appear in the circle. Wait until it's closed to open the chest, cupboard, whatever you're stealing from, and the achievement will fire.

    Another way to get this achievement (the way how I did it) is to steal something from the cabinets on the second floor of the Cow & Corset place in Bowerstone Market. Plus, there are a lot of people there inside the pub, which allows you to get the achievement easier.
