    Not too difficult this achievement, just requires a little bit of time. You level up weapons by getting zombie kills and headshots with them. Once you reach level 5 on a weapon, that's when you will unlock the final version of it. Simply purchase it with the ingame currency that you accumulate from missions.

    To view your weapons and weapon levels, go to Customize > Weapon Customization and then you'll see a list of all the weapons in the game, with all the levels


    UPDATE:

    On the latest patch you will now have to buy all previous levels of weapons in order to earn XP for the newest one. So, for example, you can only start only earning XP towards a level 3 gun, once you've purchased the level 2. Therefore you now have to buy all five of the level guns to get this achievement

    KanchanaburiI only unlocked one of each level for my scout rifle and upon purchasing the 5th upgrade, I got the achievement. So for this it appears you only need one.

    SgtSparky006I’ve level 5 the scout rifle and pistol 1911 and still no achievement everything was bought for the guns. Any ideas? Thanks

    -UPDATE/CLARIFICATION FOR 2024-

    This isnt really meant as a guide (look to JJR0906's above guide for that) but more so a piece of advice to newer players like myself who thought they'd have to spend more time and credits than they'd have to in order to level up and upgrade weapons.


    When the game 1st came out, each weapons max level was 5. Since then, they've updated the game and doubled the max level for all weapons pushing it to 10. However, that DID NOT change the requirements for this achievement. You still only need to reach and unlock level 5 for any given weapon in order to net you this achievement.
