    Ahoy Maties! Welcome to the Tall Tales, part of the Anniversary Update in Sea of Thieves!

    This video is a guide to the Shroudbreaker mission with all Mercia Journal locations to obtain all commendations associated with this Tall Tale!

    **Keep in mind that you may get a different totem, which will correspond to a different vault location, the video shows the scarab totem. I will update with a supplemental video once I get all the different totems, but RNG is making that a long process. For now, below is the corresponding island for each totem:

    Boar Totem - Devil's Ridge
    Crab Totem - Uncharted Island (Where Magpie boat is at N13/14)
    Moon Totem - Crescent Isle
    Scarab Totem - Crook's Hollow
    Snake Totem - Mermaid's Hideaway
    Shark Totem - Kraken's Fall

    The puzzle within each vault is the same, and the concept is the same but you will need to look at the picture to find the medallion. Currently I've only gotten 3 different ones, but I will post a video of the different medallion locations when I can!**

    Major BonesTall Tales are great and all, but why on earth does it make sense to do these things 5 times?

    xxDAMRONxxWell as you progress past the first mission, the tales actually have quite a bit of variety in what tasks you perfrom...so it doesn't really feel like your repeating yourself over and over :)

    coipDoes one have to do the entire quest to get the achievement? That is, do they have to be there from the start by voting on it and then completing it? Or can someone join in a quest already in progress at the very end and then complete it that way?

    FourthLionI've attempted to do this 3 or 4 times, and the journal is never there in the captains quarters. Has it glitvhed out for my account or something?

    xxDAMRONxxThe journal to start is not in the captains quarters..you'll find it in the tavern in the back next to the pirate legend
