How to unlock the Masterful denial achievement

    Sharks are the large void monsters. If they approach an object they will pick it up and throw it at you. You need to throw a barrel at their barrel in midair with the Phantom Grapb cn_LB skill to obtain this.

    The cn_LB will slow time, giving you more than enough time to line everything up. The difficult part is getting a shark to pick up a barrel while you are within range of picking up your own barrel.

    After obtaining the third Omensight choose the Emperor. Follow the linear level and just near the end of the level there is a section that spawns 2 sharks, several barrels and is immediately after a checkpoint. If you mess up, you can jump into the pit and try again with 20 seconds.

    Here's a video that shows my succesful attempt. I failed with the first set of barrels, but with the second I had all day to line up the shot once the shark picked up its own barrel.

    Timww572You don't have to use explosive barrels, I got it using jars. I got it with Draga after unlocking the first omensight.

    EarthboundXWeird, I just got it by throwing a barrel at a smaller enemy a Shark threw at me, not a jar or a barrel.

    Before that I tried to throw a jar at another thrown jar, but it didn't seem to work.

    TymanTheLongCan confirm you can literally throw anything at anything a shark throws, I threw an urn at an enemy he threw.

    ChucklestyleThis was definitely the spot to try this but still took me 45 minutes because the camera is crap, the controls are stiff, the emperor or other enemies got in the way, or I couldn't get the sharks to throw. Thankfully as reported by others the projectiles don't matter, as I threw a normal vase to intercept a small thrown enemy.

    Sensei NeoGot first try in this spot - by throwing a vase at the barrel. I tried many times in another spot and actually used a barrel twice but no achievement
