If you don't want to wait for NG+ then there is a great boss to get this achievement on. "The Maw" which is a boss about half way into the game. It has 4 attacks:

Floating square things: It'll spew out these slowly moving square things, just hit them to get rid of them.

Floor spikes: It will shoot floor spikes upward from left to right, simply move away from the boss to avoid them.

Laser beams: It will shoot a horizontal laser beam and two vertical beams will enclose into the centre of the stage. Don't jump and move to the centre of the stage to avoid them.

Floor and roof spikes: These won't move but still have a safe place to stand as evident by the red marking when they appear.

All these attacks are very easy to avoid and he'll go down quickly if you spam your special abilities (I recommend the 90 degree giant sword special).

EarthboundXJust got it on Alena, found her pretty easy. Most of her attacks are quite easy to dodge once you get then down.

I used the Colossal Hammer and just kept whaling one her. I'm sure it helps that I'm probably overleveled for this part of the game, almost level 50. Each Hammer hit did 270 to her.

OK, just beat The Maw, and yeah that's a super easy boss to beat without getting hit.

If you’re having trouble with this achievement you can save it for NG+...your level, stats, and all your equipment carry over. So you’ll be starting off NG+ insanely over powered. The first boss you fight will be the Feline Sentry, and you’ll most likely be able to kill it with a few hits. Using highly powered plasma orbs make it very easy since you can hit targets far away.

GloatingSwineThere's another way that should work. In the final area after defeating past Nuvius or Vol Terris go to the far left and you go through a small random gauntlet of enemies and fight one of two bosses at the end.

If you go into the boss room and see a normal dude you're on the right one, run straight up to him as the real boss appears and crouch down right in the middle of his sprite. He can't hit you there and you can easily shred him with the Radiant Orb.

You can run this multiple times in a playthrough as well, and will need to to get all the Familiars.

nightw0lf@GloatingSwine - it took me a few tries to get the timing and positioning right, but your method works really well. You need to create your own solution for this. LifeSuxPlayHALO's solution is good, but yours was faster for me.

Hands down the easiest way to get this is against Ifrit in Temporal Gyre (near the end of the game).

Once you go through the corridors to get to the final boss, and it is Ifrit (you can tell which boss you're facing from the checkpoint screen before going through the boss door), equip temporal orbs and, if you have it, the Star of Lachiem Ring (just speeds things up, not essential).

As soon as you go through the boss door, hold RB to dash towards the sprite. As soon as you are stood where he is, hold DOWN to crouch, and keep it held.

Ifrit will now spawn above you, and from this position none of his attacks can hurt you. Simply proceed to spam your orbs and once you kill him the achievement will unlock, assuming you didn't get hit.

ugliWhich Orbs are you referring to? There is no "temporal orb" in the game.

I8ITackyticsI8IOriginal post: I was dreading this but The Maw was very easy for this, thank you very much. I stuck to spamming plasma orbs at the maw until I ran out of aura and then using items to fill it back up. I used 1 hi ether, 3 ethers and 5 mind refreshes to beat him. I'm only level 24 with level 6 orbs. Did it on my third try - first try was to get used to his attacks and I made a silly mistake on the second try.
I also dashboarded out after beating him and beat him again with the right handed sword and the Hammer orbs allowing myself to get hit and without using items so I wouldn't waste them. Worth doing
Edit: do yourself a favour and do this on new game plus. I just got this on the 1st boss in the game. I'm level 58 with level 114 plasma orbs and a level 24 demon and I killed him in 4 hits. Ludicrously easy and no fuss. If you really have to do it on playthrough 1 for some reason though then the maw is your best bet. Also don't dashboard out like i did or the feat won't count towards the unlock all achievements achievement
